Gary's Seafood is more than a just fish and chip shop - although their Fish and chips are delicious. You can eat in the good court area or order takeway. They also sell fresh seafood. We buy our salmon fillets from here rather than the supermarket. Their fish is always so fresh, the quality is so much better and the pricing is quite reasonable. Very helpful staff. Good customer service.

I bought baby octopus to cook for my kids lunch. When i opened the bag the smell was so bad, probably expired like a week or so. I asked seller some advise about which fish is better so they thought that i don't know anything about the seafood so why not to give her expired octopus!!! On my way to bring it back!!! Never ever again will go to that fish shop!!!!! Strictly not recommended!!!!

Bought oysters and prawns from here in the past and was always happy with the quality. This week I saw tubs of crabmeat (about 220grams) with a sign saying $24.99 kg. I decided to buy 2 tubs as my wife makes a dish called Crab Pilau, mixing crab meat with rice. I believe I was served by one of the owners who rung up $50 on the till. I told him the sign said $24.99 kg but he told me the tubs were $24.99 each. He then said the sign wss wrong and took the sign away. No apology and quite abrupt in his manner.

Great fish and chips, fish (hoki) was flaky and chips were chunky and crispy. Well priced and decent serving size. Be sure to check special blackboard too. Staff were attentive and friendly. Definately one of the better takeaway options in the area.

Third and last time ordered fresh fish" from here. Purchased "fresh local barramundi fillets which appeared greyish. The guy assured me it was normal. Just cooked them and took a bite

Food and service is usually very good..but today I had bad service.ItS not good practice to hire Lil kids that like to serve there school friends first.. even though other people have been waiting before hand..I walked away and bought elsewhere

Easily the best seafood shop in Sydney.. I'm not overstating it. Their calamari is amazing, and their servings are always generous. Beautiful fish, and their grilled food is cooked excellently. As always, incredibly friendly staff.Let it also be noted that I am very particular when it comes to seafood.

I've gotten grilled fish or a fish burger from here for a couple of years as I don't really like any of the other eatery places and I'm trying to eat healthy food. The grilled fish and salad cost $14 which is pretty expensive for a small piece of fish and just a pretty ordinary salad. Last time I went which was this week, they didn't even ask me what salad, or if I wanted dressing and it took about 15mins to make. Ridiculous, they also told me they had no sparkling water even though I could see it in the fridge. I didn't say anything cause I didn't want to give them anymore of my money.Definitely won't bother going there ever again. Very disappointed.
