Willow Tree Estate

I have photographed a few weddings at Willow Tree Estate and it is always a wonderful experience.Firstly Willow Tree Estate is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Hunter Valley. The views over the vines and mountain range are just incredible!The house is huge, so it is perfect for a couple and their families to get ready in. And it is big enough that if you don't want to see each other before the ceremony, you can.Wedding ceremonies take place in the garden, there are plenty of photo opportunities around the property and the reception can take place on the deck or inside in the dining room if you are having a small wedding.This is a great property where you can have your whole wedding day, from start to finish, in the one place.

Stayed at Willow tree for a week from 3rd Jan and absolutely loved it. We were 7 families and each had a few kids. Every room had its own nice big bathroom. The house had all the important features. Games room, movie room and a pool. The kids had an absolute blast. I can fault this house at all. Fits a lot of people very comfortably and very family friendly. No hesitations to recommend this place as a place to stay for a holiday. Very clean and nice and modern.

We chose to have our wedding here and overall our experience was pretty good. Definitely recommend people check it out, the location is spectacular and all our friends/family enjoyed themselves.Natalie and James were quite helpful throughout the planning but there were some frustrating things that occurred causing me to give a personal rating of 3.5/5 but i knocked it up to 4 in good faith on here.Some of the frustrating things below:1. As it turns out one of our guests knocked a painting off the wall. Ok, these things happen. I informed Natalie and James as soon as I knew and even took the time to go and show them making sure they were aware of the situation, even though they hadn't read my messages. I even asked them to let me know how they want to proceed as we have a damages clause in the agreement which we would need to pay for.They got incredibly defensive over the issue and then mildly verbally aggressive the next morning indicating I was lying to them about it. The facts were I informed them at every opportunity with all the information I had. I only pieced the full story together completely after I had already asked them how they want to proceed with the handling of the paintings and monies. The response in the morning was unprofessional claiming that if I just owned up to it first thing (which I did not know it was us at that stage) they would charge us for it and all would be ok. They charged us anyway (which is fine) but charged us for two paintings indicating the two were a pair even though only one broke and it was a frame issue nothing else. We were charged $1050 which I think is a ridiculous sum and they got the same outcome. So I don't understand the attitude in the morning at all.2. A mouse somehow entered a completely closed off area of the house. It traumatised some of our guests and when we spoke to them about it the response we got was It is only a field mouse". There was no offer of anything. It seemed double standardy. When an issue affected them

Beautiful estate. Manicured lawns and hedges, clean and well equipped commercial kitchen, clean rooms with decent soundproofing, homey yet modern decor, good amenities, decent pest control.

This place is amazing to stay and even better as a wedding venue. The care and attention given to this place is outstanding and give you an experience that will leave you with many memories.

We stayed at Willow Tree for a 40th and had a great time. The rooms are specious, there are plenty of bathrooms and the house and surroundings have many area's to be together or just find a spot to read a book. We got Stay n Sip to host a winetasting at the house when we arrived which was a great start of the weekend. The location is amazing, we rented e bikes nearby and visited restaurants and cellar doors in the area. We couldn't have wished for a better place to explore the Hunter Valley with a large group. Love to do that again!

Our extended family of 30 recently came together at Willow Tree Estate for 3 nights to celebrate our mum's 90th birthday, and we can't even begin to find the words to express what an amazing time we had.Natalie & James, thank you so much for your beautiful (beyond words) Willow Tree. We had our wedding at Willow Tree Estate. The atmosphere was exceptional!! (Especially the mountains/vineyards view in the morning from the balcony)Natalie and James were so helpful and easy to communicate.Honestly we have zero negatives.Definitely going back for a special occasion!

We recently held our wedding at Willow Tree Estate. It’s such a beautiful location, even in the rain. We had an amazing weekend with our family and friends and highly recommend. Natalie and James were wonderful hosts and we couldn’t have done the wedding day without them, putting the wet weather plan into action and still making it the perfect day.Claire & Ryan

What an amazing weekend!I had booked Willow Tree Resort previously for work, not only was it a beautiful house, Natalie and the team couldn’t have been more accommodating, so when my son chose to get married in the Hunter, Willow Tree instantly came to mind.We stayed over Mother’s Day weekend and had the most amazing time.Everything in this home is beautiful, we stayed as a group of 19 and we all had our own space (and bathroom!)Fabulous kitchen facilities (for our Mother’s Day breakfast!) gorgeous ponds, spectacular views, spacious living areas… The wedding was perfect and the accommodation was divine! We are already planning a visit next year! Thank you Natalie and James, for making a very special occasion- perfect!
