Melbourne Carpet Cleaning - Same Day Carpet Steam Cleaning

Requested a service and was quoted $75 for 3 rooms. Upon arrival was told there was more square metres so would be an additional cost - ended up paying nearly double. Also was told there would be additional cost for stain removal to which I advised we did not want- just a steam clean. The provider was told multiple times, no stain removal and it took two of us reiterating this fact for him to stop pushing. Cleaner also emptied the dirt from the carpet out on our front door step and made us come out and look at the “mess.” Note we are not animals and there were bins right next to where this man emptied the dirt. Completely unprofessional. Cleaner also wrote “too much dirt and hair” with a winky face on our receipt. Well yes there are multiple people and pets living in our house so unsurprisingly there was hair in the house! The carpets had been vacuumed prior to arrival and the attitude was totally unnecessary. Yes, we understand the carpets needed cleaning hence requesting this service. And the cleaner broke our front door stopper so we can no longer hold our wire door open. Upon complaining and requesting a response in writing, I received a phone call from the area manager. Complete lack of understanding or respect of others work hours, and refusal to respond in writing. No accountability, terrible service and made us all uncomfortable.

The repair of the carpet was done very well. But the carpet cleaning left a stain and when I called to get this fixed (because of their 99.99% stain removal guarantee) they said there is nothing they can do because they tried with the steam cleaning. You pay extra if you want the carpets not to smell (which they don’t tell you beforehand) and because they contract the cleaners out they have no idea of the company policy or anything about the clean. They are not professional, difficult to communicate with and do a terrible job of cleaning.

staff is extremely simple to work with and a true professional. They do a fantastic job, and their work is faultless. I've hired him and his team to clean several of my properties.

There were some challenging situations that the staff handled expertly. Both the office staff and the cleaning staff were wonderful to work with. I've utilised their service three times now, and I'm very impressed. I shall keep doing that. fantastic work, Ash Also, the principle is a pleasure to work with.

Cleaner was there less than 30minutes, seemed he barely touched the carpet as there was still basic stains and dirt. I attempted to follow up multiple times and was told I would be contacted on three different occasions to organise another clean which didn't happen. I eventually requested a refund and was ignored. Poor quality and am now out of pocket $300 and will likely lose some of my bond, wouldn't recommend.

I had requested for a clean for 2pm on Monday, I received a call from the technician around 11:45am telling me that his car had broken down and he would not be able to complete the clean that day. I called the company number to speak to someone about getting another cleaner for the same day, explaining that the technician's car had broken down. She informed me that the technician would be there by 2pm that day. Not long after hanging up from the company, the technician who told me his car had broken down, called and said that he could be there earlier than expected. (What happened to your broken car? It wouldn't just magically start working again). Anyway, once the technician arrived, he was charging us more than what was quoted, even though I had email proof of quoting price, and the rooms where not larger in size and there were no stains present. He spent less than 10 minutes carpet cleaning the 2 rooms, asked me to look at them to make sure I was happy with them. I was not, he had not done an adequate enough job. I asked him to go over the one room again as there was hair all over the carpet that he had not cleaned. He told me that I would have to wait until the carpets were dry and to vacuum over them again. I shouldn't have to vacuum them after paying to a carpet clean! After making a scene" about me paying him for a service to be done correctly

Absolute worst experience. I was underquoted $90 on the phone for a couch clean. When the cleaner showed up he told me it would be $210 (rather than the $90 I was quoted). My couch looked worse after a mere 30mins of cleaning. I gave them numerous chances to resolve through refund or redoing the job and they never returned my calls. Very quick to underquote and send out a cleaner but zero interest in providing a decent service. Please spare yourself the waste of time and money. The positive google reviews are clearly made up. This business is shameful. I will be reporting them to Consumer Affairs Victoria.

These guys are an absolute scam. You’d be safer sharing your card details on your Facebook status than you would hiring these guys.Before the clean everything seemed good. They were very responsive, competitively priced, and guaranteed a high quality end of lease clean.Come cleaning day, the cleaner was two hours late. When he and his companion arrived, straight away he pointed out damage in the property and told me that he could not provide 100% bond back guarantee due to damage. I responded saying damage isn’t his worry and as long as everything is cleaned to a professional level then all other bond claims (unrelated to cleanliness) are between myself and the real estate. Despite this, he still have a guarantee that he would do everything to the best possible standard.The cleaner then asked for payment via Pay ID which made me uncomfortable and was a massive red flag but as it was my last day to get the clean done before moving interstate, I bit the bullet. He and his companion were also whispering to each other whilst assessing the property which made me feel uneasy and like I was going to be ripped off. After paying, the cleaner then provided a receipt which had another company’s water mark and the name “mad about cleaning” not “Melbourne carpet cleaning”.Two hours later and the clean was all finished. A 3 bed, 2 bath carpeted apartment done in 2 hours which I was suspect on. As soon as they had “cleaned” the last inch of carpet they were off. Out the door as quick as possible with very little conversation. They left the buildings lobby and lift wet from their carpet cleaner.I went to go check the quality of the clean as at this point, I was very concerned but the floor was sopping wet and I was unable to assess the quality of the clean.Fast forward a week later and my real estate agent has sent me an exit report with over 12 items that need to be recleaned. Stuff as simple as dust that could be wiped off a power point were blatantly ignored by this joke of a company. I sent an email to the company and received an email saying “we’ve received your complaint” but no actual acknowledgement of the rectification needed. I also called them and was told someone would get back to me but they never did. I then decided to contact the cleaner directly and his response was that the issues are not covered under the service. I could not believe it, things so simple that are stock standard in an end of lease clean are all of a sudden “not included”. I then pushed back and asked him in what world would wiping dust off a power point not be included in an end of lease clean. Instead of providing actual justification he cut me off with an abrupt “listen” and proceeded to tell me how he told me he didn’t give me the bond back guarantee and best he can do is come back and mop. I told him mopping is useless as it will not rectify theses issues and that the no bond back guarantee was only on damaged areas, which are not the areas I am asking him to come back and reclean. Not to mention, even if these issues were justifiably not included in the service (which is not the case) he could’ve openly told me at the time of the service. This at least would’ve given me the day to sort it out myself.After going through these other reviews I know my breath is wasted arguing with him so instead I will send my complaint elsewhere.Honestly do not waste your time with this service. They’re cut from the same cloth as people who pose as the ATO and like to trick elderly people into buying gift cards for them. You’d be better off buying a hose and just washing down your property. You’re not paying for an end of lease clean, you’re paying for a half effort wipe down that any average Joe could do. Save yourself the coin and look elsewhere or just do it yourself. I am now interstate and cannot go back and fix the issues myself so this cleaning company really did me dirty. But not as dirty as they did my apartment!

Scam!!! This is not a professional cleaning company - they don’t have professional cleaning equipment or products or expertise!!! DO NOT USE!!!! The carpets just look wet not steam cleaned and they left most areas of the house untouched. I had to clean even after a second visit from the “cleaner” as the dirty rag he used to “clean” left it worse than it was. He essentially shook the rag over the skirting boards, this person needs training on how to clean not just wipe over things. Plus better equipment!! We didn’t get our bond back because of the carpets and this company won’t respond to emails or calls - simply hang up when I call- to arrange their bond back guarantee. I’ve made a complaint to consumer affairs.Their invoice lists a different company name to the website so I think it’s a total scam company.

Had a bad experience. Cleaner came I'm did all of ten minutes work. Used no chemicals and left the carpet virtually as he found it. Nevertheless I'm happy. The communication was great. They offered to fix the bad job and second go around was perfect. Fast and succinct communication. Were understanding of my grievance and made me feel as if they wanted my business. You can tell how a company truly is when things don't go well and this company showed that they put there money where there mouth is and went out of there way to fix the issue no muss no fuss. Would use again.
