The good: location and free parking and coffee. The bad: seating is confusing and unclear if it’s table service (which it isn’t). B&E breakfast dry and needs a relish or something freshen it up. Got my order wrong. The ugly: sides are expensive ($6.50 for a hash!).Ok but not amazing.

This place has it all - great coffee (and excellent tea too) as well as really tasty savoury and sweet items (the peach danish especially). It also has great staff, with fun banter. We liked it so much the first day that we rearranged our schedule on the last day of our holiday just to make sure we could go back! And the person running it remembered us, which was a really nice touch. It is not too obvious from the street and the parking area is not huge, but it is well worth it for the great food and drink.

I love the coffee here, very fine coffee foam and tasty. Big cup are really big, staff are friendly. Next to the supermarket, really busy.

Been here before and it was decent. Visited today and the 'hollandaise' was just melted butter, consistency of water. The photos show proper thick sauce, no idea how they thought this was acceptable to serve. Complained and was not offered a fix or refund, just that they would tell the chef our feedback.... shocked.Wish I'd taken a photo.

The coffee is good. The barista leans over backwards to get your coffee the way you like it. I like the food. I frequently stop by for coffee on the way to work. It’s a popular place for coffee in the morning.

Great little coffee shop with easy parking. They use Skip so order ahead to avoid waiting. Good selection of pastries and sandwiches. They have a small breakfast menu too.Only lost a star due to the price of a large coffee being over $5 is a bit expensive for Hobart.

MeMi's is a solid coffee joint, but I do think they went sharply downhill over the course of 2021 with the overturning of staff and the associated changing to the recipes. The veggie Turkish and salads used to be amazing, now they're 50/50 great or okay.Also, the inspiration for me writing a review: There's a very specific employee who screws up my drink every time if they touch my order in any way. Every. Single. Time. Over the last half year. Either the size is wrong, the milk is wrong or forgotten, my name is wrong, and/or it's burned to heck and back. It's so consistent, and since it's just me in our group, my paranoia is explosive.

Cute little place. Great food and fantastic coffee.Seats in the middle are not comfortable. Very popular with locals and University workers and students.
