I completed the 6 week course with Brigitte from BRB ceramics in winter last year and learnt so much. Brigitte is so knowledgable and friendly and really helps to break things down into manageable steps. Brigitte is really great at adapting her tips for each student in the class and helping to give me advice that make sense for me. I have loved the course so much I have continued ceramics and learning from Brigitte. She is also a very talented ceramicist and has so much knowledge. You should definitely check her out!

I could not recommend Brigitte and her ceramics courses more! I recently completed the 6 week course and came away with so much more knowledge (and many more ceramic goodies) than I expected. Brig has a wonderful teaching style, providing just the right amount of guidance on technique and ceramics knowledge, whilst still leaving room for your own creativity and ideas to come to the surface. The BRB 6-week course is one of the best things I’ve ever done! Brigitte is so talented, knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging in her guidance. I liked doing the longer course because I could really get a grasp of everything and feel so comfortable now in the studio stretching my skills and giving harder pieces a go. She makes it really easy to progress and turn out beautiful work. Couldn’t recommend enough!

I did the 6 week wheel throwing course and it was the best experience ever, from learning the techniques of throwing and all the extra tips brigitte had to offer to the amazing atmosphere and encouragement she provided. I am so in love with all the pieces i’ve made with brigitte’s guidance would definitely recommend learning from her!!

I honestly could not recommend Brigitte enough, as well as being a brilliant teacher, was also kind, patient and attentive to my questions about ceramics, kilns, the history of and recommendations of other talented artists.I did the 6 week throwing course with and produced more than what I thought I could achieve, or was possible in the time frame. I now have beautiful forever pieces for my home and friends, which is honestly something money can’t buy. Brigitte’s gentle encouragement, suggestions and goals for my experience in the course left me feel satisfied, confident and eager to pick up ceramics as a hobby. brb ceramics is amazing! I did the six week wheel throwing class recently and was blown away by the things myself and the other students made! The classes are kept small so Brigitte was always able to assist where needed. The sky is the limit when it comes to what you can make! I felt super supported by Brigitte and couldn’t recommend brb ceramics enough!

As someone who had only tried pottery once before in a large group setting, I was unsure of what to expect when I signed up for BRB Ceramics' 6-week course.The whole experience exceeded all of my expectations….Not only did I learn so much about pottery during those six weeks, but it also became a place I got to switch off and have some fun!Brigitte was nothing short of incredible. She created a supportive environment that made the learning process feel like a breeze. Her teaching style was approachable and informative, and she was always available to answer any questions we had (and help fix many of my mistakes haha). I've been lucky to know Brigitte for many years as a friend and as a teacher more recently when I enrolled in her 6 week wheel throwing course. She made learning a knew skill really engaging and fun. I was able to gain skills in wheel throwing very quickly. Brigitte is endlessly generous with sharing her time and knowledge, able to answer any questions or work through ideas with you. She takes a lot of pride in her work and it absolutely shows. I would (and do!) recommend all of her classes to anyone who wants to work with ceramics.
