Newcastle Food & Flower Markets

I’ve been coming here for a number of years and realised I’ve never put up a review. This place is my go to for everything, every weekend I will be here, even two days in a row.Why you ask? The food is amazing, always have impeccable customer service and a relationship with everyone who enters. The flowers are beautiful and have had many last many months due to the drying nature and can experience the beauty for longer than most. The fresh food is locally sourced and is always top tier.I have a lot to do with the owners over the years and I would love to thank them for everything.Even through covid, they made everyone feel special and like they were still going out at the comfort of their homes.Will be coming here for years to come.

I'd give zero star if I could. We had a booking on Mothers Day at 10AM. Got there at 10, we were told that we didn't have a table as they had accepted walk-ins and the table were all busy. We were told that we would have to wait until people leave. We waited until 10:20 and tried to order food at the counter, to be told that we couldn't because we didn't have a table. I explained that we had a booking, and we should have been given a table more than 20 min ago. I was told to be patient. We left and other people did too. The food looked good, but we didn't want to give them any business after this. They were greedy and accepted walk-ins without making sure they woul honour their bookings. They should have given the walk-ins a time limit or simply not accepted bookings. Will not go back.

I highly recommend this shop.The owner is a pro explaining everything about plants, flowers and the treatment, she is so sweet and friendly.They have wonderful wedding arrangement and a lot of variety of flowers from wild to exotic.You have dry flowers to, if you like boho style.I bought lavender for $20And tiny white flowers (the popular for weddings crown) for $20And I was able to do a bouquet and a crown for my hair.You will be happy to buy your flowers from here.You have a wonderful cafe shop with a huge variety of breakfast and food.Cheese platter and more is available too.

We had a booking for Mother's Day at 10 and they didn't have a table available for us. The reason was that they had many walk-ins and all the tables were taken. They told us to wait. 20 min later, we still didn't have a table and were still being told to be patient. This is very poor management when you have a booking. They even rang the day before to confirm our booking. This is one of the busiest days of the year, this is why we had planned ahead. We left

Loved our bouquet, arbor and table set up! I popped in a few weeks before our celebration and Jess was able to assist me then and there. She was so easy to deal with… i wanted something simple, just gave her photos and a budget to work with and voila.. She delivered beyond my expectations. Thank you so much!

Jess and the team at NFM are amazing.We found ourselves needing a new florist the end of September for our November wedding.From the moment we contacted NFM I knew I needed them. We were locked in within hours of my first email. The team made the whole process so effortless and smooth.Our bouquets and arbour arrangement were just perfect and exactly what I wanted.Jess knows her craft and I can not recommend her high enough.Thank you so much xx

What a disappointment. I purchased flowers today for a birthday gift. On closer inspection at home I noticed 2 flower heads had come away from the stem and some wilting. I purchased flowers from another florist to use. I had to discard a lot of withered leaves from the flowers I bought a Newcastle Flower Market. I will be more careful to inspect if I purchase here again

Absolutely love this place! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is beautiful. Jess and Franco are so warm and welcoming - you feel like a member of their Newcastle food and flower market family

OMG you’ve got to have the turmeric lattes. The menu has some great yummy food like the spiced pumpkin bruschetta and the veggie big brekkie. Beautiful flowers, plants and awesome staff. A must visit.

After our daughter raved how good Newcastle Food and Flower Market was we thought we would give it a go. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was fantastic. In fact, my wife described the corn fritters as the best she has ever tasted. Not only were the meals delicious but they were extremely filling and all at a very reasonable price. If I could give the meal a rating greater than five stars I would.We also took the opportunity of purchasing fresh flowers and fresh bread.We will definitely be back and Newcastle Food and Flower Market will be on our list for brunch when we have extended family staying with us.Date visited 26 August 2022.
