Our time building with Mick, Dan and the MJS Built team was wonderful! From the first time we chatted with Mick, all the way through to handover was a great experience. Mick understands his clients well, is highly professional, organised and works in collaboration to ensure the vision comes to life. As first timers, Mick supported us through the whole experience, it was stress free, we felt we were working as a team and we really enjoyed it!We were handed over such a beautiful home, where we smile everyday walking around it. If we ever get the opportunity to build again, we would not hesitate to call Mick and work with him and the team again. Thanks again guys!

It is with great pleasure that we write a review of our experiences with MJS Built.In November of 2021 we were very uncertain whether to buy an existing property or build a new house, our preference was to build in the 13th Beach Estate but were uncertain about the projected disruption to Builders at that time with continued rising costs, shortage of crucial materials and the shortage of competent trades people.On a weekend drive to inspect new construction sites we encountered a MJS Built Site that displayed Mick's phone number, so we rang and we're instantly struck by Mick's optimistic, can do attitude ( that has never wavered)so we made an appointment to attend a meeting in his office to discuss what was possible at that difficult time.The option to buy an established property disappeared at that first meeting. The planning process really started from that day, we felt very confident that we had met a builder that had high standards and exceptional planning skills that would deliver to us a beautiful house. Mick guided us through the planning and approval process with the help of Local and Professional Companies that Specialise in Design and Engineering of Domestic Construction. Construction commenced in June and the concrete slab was poured on the 1st of July, 11 months later we moved into our new home. The whole building process for Greta and myself has been a relaxing enjoyable experience, Mick's organisational abilities and his planning skills ensure that the construction process flows smoothly and his team of skilled trades people constantly deliver work to a high standard.Thanks Mick, Alex, Kyle and Jackie for Handling Over to us such a wonderful home. Even the Handover process was perfectly organised and some surprisely thoughtful details that typified MJS Built.If we are asked to recommend a Builder for a project both Greta and I would not hesitate to say MJS Built.

We have built many houses before but this was the first experience we have had that was truly 5 star. Mick and his team made the building experience seamless and we felt well supported throughout. Nothing was a drama and Mick and Dan became like old friends! This experience is in addition to having a final product that was of an exceptional standard! Thank you MJS Built and we hope to have the opportunity to build with you again. We would 100% recommend building with MJS Built and have shared this with anyone who will listen!

We built our new home with Mick and team over 2021/2022.We second all the previous comments - quality and workmanship is consistently high, the design process was as stress free as could be, the finished product draws compliments from everyone who visits, and is beautiful to live in.In addition to this there are a few things that we think make Mick and the team at MJS stand out:- Everyone on the team was a joy to deal with. Friendly, open to ideas, honest, collaborative, helpful. Goody and Mick are both legends who answered all our questions no matter how minute or strange.- Everyone we’ve ever encountered who have worked with MJS rave about the team - not a bad word to be said from a trade or contact - to me this is a huge deal! Further to this we were initially considering two builders. Mick said to us, of the other builder - you’ll be really happy with his results too, it’s up to you who you choose. Symbolic of his generous and honest approach.- When some things didn’t go according to plan - which is inevitable, and these instances were few and far between - they were resolved without fuss.- Despite building during Covid/supply chain issues/floods/etc the build ran smoothly with few hold ups - meanwhile friends were experiencing major delays.- The trades MJS works with are local and awesome - we love supporting local biz and industry and jobs.- Mick and Goody have phenomenal attention to detail and hold very high standards and picked up things to be amended or improved in the final stages that we probably wouldn’t have.- MJS Built genuinely care, there is a level of consideration you just couldn’t fake.If we build again (definitely not going anywhere soon!) we know who we would call!

Mick and his team at MJSBuilt are honest, and both quality and client focussed. Mick is so genuine. In our case, we had a half built house as a result of our volume builder going into liquidation. Mick and his team provided us with advice and direction regarding how to recover from our situation. They didn't have to do that. That sort of genuine concern for the customer is a rare find these days. Well done guys.

Hardest thing I did today was ring Mick Stanley from MJS and tell him i wasn’t able to proceed with the construction of my new home. We had been planning a new building together for some time and he was so accommodating, professional and patient. Sorry Mick I had to change direction and won’t get a chance to enjoy the craftsmanship you’re renowned for.Cheers Mark
