Kids OT

Kids OT is a fantastic place. My daughter has been attending them for a number of years now and with her asd difficulties she has improved so much. All the staff there from the receptionists and all the therapists are great people to deal with and are always friendly and helpful. I can’t thank everyone there enough for the help and support they have provided for my daughter and myself. Would definitely recommend kids OT to anybody.

Our grandchildren attend weekly for Martial Methods, Skills Central - dance and ECIP, we could not be happier with the service and outcomes. We take our grandchildren each week and been very impressed with the feedback, genuine care and presentation of these services.Thank you for supporting our family Kids OT.

Kids OT and Martial Methods has been a safe place to get additional support and to develop for our three children on many levels. We feel our children aged 5, 9 and 12 have all found their place here, either Martial Methods or Kids OT for therapy. A positive experience all round here

Unresponsive Admin Team, unapproved direct debiting. I’ve been chasing a refund for a month for group sessions my son is not attending. No longer recommended.

I am an employee and a client of kids OT. I could not recommend the clinic and the amazing therapists more. Both my girls attend and look forward to coming in every week. The rooms are like a magical wonderland for kids - each offering a different theme/toys/games/ and specialised OT equipment. I love being a part of Kids OT and like my kids look forward to coming in every day. Kids OT is not work to me .. its FAMILY.

I took my son to Kids OT based on a recommendation. It was only at the end of his initial assessment and $650 later that they informed me they were moving to Dee Why which was an extra length to travel, their previous office in Frenchs Forest was already out of our area but we had heard good things so decided to give them a go. It would have maybe been ok as we would have started our first appointments at Frenchs Forest, but when I enquired about other appointments that might be available at a more convenient time, they cancelled the appointments that we had without even confirming with us first so then we had no appointment until they would be in Dee Why over a month later. Very unimpressed and really bad practice not to inform new customers that you were moving office before they come and see you. They also were not prepared to refund any of the fees they charged so we had to do another assessment with a different OT so it basically cost us almost $1000 for our sons initial OT assessment to get him going with his therapy.

My wife visited today for an assessment for our son. The reception talked down to her the whole time. Didn't even offer private sessions until after she was asked and then looked over the rim of her glasses and explained with attitude that they would be $145... Just because someone comes in with their child in their active wear, doesn't mean they couldn't afford a $145 session weekly.... Basic humanity and customer service with a lack of profiling is what is appropriate.... Maybe she should have put her car keys on the table and flashed her dimond ring or carried her LV bag when she visited... Maybe she'd have been treated like she could be there.... We will find somewhere that welcomes us and wants to help our son...

Highly recommend Kids OT. From the first assessment to ongoing treatment for my son the staff have been amazing and have communicated the progress and progression with me at every step. They are very caring, professional and approachable.We also attend Martial Methods which has been really beneficial in my son's development.I would recommend Kids OT to any parent who needs OT assistance.

I have worked with the Occupational therapists at KidsOT now for over 12 years. As a classroom teacher, I have found them very professional and supportive as I have worked with the student in the classroom. Amanda and her team have gone beyond the call of duty and have been willing to observe and assess their clients in the classroom, listen to the feedback of the classroom teacher and help implement practical ways in which to support the child in the classroom. With a team approach (child, parent, therapist and teacher), they have helped these students make realistic goals to help the child work through their challenges, gain greater confidence and overcome their difficulties. I certainly recommend KidsOT services to anyone who has concerns about their child/children.

My son has been coming to Kids OT since he was 5, he's now 8. Yes it is expensive but I budget everywhere and will continue to do so because after starting OT he became a different child, the world was starting seeing the little boy I knew. Once his sensory issues were finally being addressed by someone who didn't just label him as shy and anxious he flourished, willing to learn and try and eat!We have had 3 wonderful therapists over the years and are now under the care of beautiful Natalie whom my son after only 3 sessions trusts implicitly. Thankyou Amanda for providing such a wonderful facility and invaluable service. My kid would not be who he is today without you! warm regards, Julie
