Steve was wonderful for my little boy's first ever curly hair haircut. Patient, kind and engaged my 3 yo son who also received a first haircut certificate and stickers which he was so excited about. Couldn't have wished for a better experience! We will be back to get our curly locks cut to perfection.

Steve is so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He listened to my requests, deciphered what I meant and delivered one of the best cut and colours I've ever had. If you're thinking about trying out Harlequin hair I would wholeheartedly recommend that you do. ❤️

Having moved from interstate I was DESPERATE for a hairdresser who knew how to cut curly hair.Steve is an excellent hair dresser (a literal expert) and honestly saved what little love I had left for my curly hair! When I’m at work I have daily compliments about my hair cut and make sure to direct all my curly customers to this salon - without hesitation.I can’t wait to head back for a trim soon!

I've been seeing Steve since moving to Moorooka 10 years ago. I'd always seen my thick, wavy hair as being a bit 'difficult' and unruly. Steve not only does an amazing job with it but takes the time to help me learn about different hair care products that will suit my hair. He is also an absolute gem of a person and it is increasingly hard to get an appointment with him for good reason!

If you are a curl girl, starting up your curl journey or wanting to perfect it, this is a place to be! Steve was knowledgeable but eager to listen. He examined my hair carefully asking questions to understand its needs. He also understood how much time and capacity I was willing to invest in my hair routine, and developed me a routine that suits me best.His passion and care for hair is very easy for anyone to see. This place is a Gem worth discovering! If you're thinking of booking, don't hesitate!

I've had nothing but compliments since my first hair appointment with Steve. Any one with curly hair knows the frustration that comes with it, and the hesitation when trying a new hair stylist. Steve is an expert and I truly wish I embraced my curls earlier. A hidden gem for us curly sisters.

Steve is fantastic! Really listens and understand the client. Super knowedgeable. Helped so much with managing my own my hair. I could not decide between wavy or straight, so he did a haircut that suits both. Love my haircut and how healthy my hair is since I started following Steve’s suggestions.

I had to wait six weeks for my first ever ‘Curly hair specialist’ appointment and it was so worth it. Steve is exceptional, patient, calm, listens carefully and understands. My hair: patchy grey, growing out hair dye, curly, and I did not want to have the full colour up-keep. Steve found a solution that suited me and I was introduced to products that work! The end result… was WOW! Very happy and thank you so much, Steve.
