Glider City Motel
We have been coming here for years. We will never be back after seeing increased fees for reduced service.The room stunk of garbage, bottle of off milk under one bed, empty bottles near an other, other rubbish on the floor. Microwave was filthy and we had to clean it before we could heat baby bottle.Called them on after hrs number but no answer.Beds not made, dirty sheets on the one bed that was made. Called a liar by management, had the man yelling at me in the office.Then charged $380 for the pleasure. Stay away from this poor excuse of a service provider.

Lovely, comfortable, clean rooms. Comfortable bed, quiet location a short drive back into town at night. Lovely lady at reception. Thank you.

A quiet location, with a comfortable bed and spacious room. I enjoyed the short walk to the cafes and bakeries, of which there are plenty to choose from. Loved the town artwork and park area around the man-made lake.

(Very) good sized room - it was a twin ... with 1 x queen bed, and 2 x singles; all amenities anyone could want (including biscuits with the tea and coffee :o); heaps of blankets, iron and board, excellent bathroom with equally excellent shower. All beds with elec. blankets. A great night's stay.

Nice modern bathroom. Although rooms could do some renovations as well, perhaps some plasterboards on the wall, replace old dim yellow lights with brighter white lights and getting rid of old patterned quilts and replacing it with white quilts would make the rooms much nicer. Pillows were also on the soft side and would have preferred a firmer pillow. Hopefully rooms can be renovated as mentioned above but otherwise decent stay and would recommend.

Nice modern motel with pool and friendly staff on the way into town. Reasonably good bathroom facilities for people requiring a walker to get around. Had trouble checking in before 2pm but after that the staff were very helpful.

Really nice place. Rooms have been updated tastefully . Lovely linens etc. Very clean. Check in was fast. Michael was very helpful and accommodating. Nice BBQ area. Roomy, easy parking. Looks like there was off street parking for buses and larger vehicles too.If we had to complain about something, it would only be that the mattress was a little firm for us personally, but that again is very specific/individualised to us.We highly recommend this Motel.Cheers
