The nicest woman owns and runs this store, she is highly skilled and reasonably priced. I'd happily wait the couple of weeks to get an appointment.

I tried asking about costs for a certain hair cut, bleaching and colour and recieved a very overly high price for it. However for me that wasn't the concern. I thought it was quite rude that when i called and asked if i could come in for a consult they said they didn't have time today (which was fine fair enough) and they said i could come in the following day or i could message their Facebook page with the details of what i was after. So that's what i did, i messaged them. However i then received the very high quote and didn't quite understand why it was so high considering other places said they could do the same look for under $500 (which i did get done elsewhere and looks exactly how i wanted). But then when i said i might just book in the cut and a bleach they saw my message and ignored it.Maybe I've just had a bad experience because they are very busy or something. I don't know what happens behind the scenes however i didn't think i got a very great experience.Their prices are the same as a large professional hair salon which specialise in funky colours and have hundreds more reviews. They don't explain what they need/ want to do very well compared to other places. A little disappointing considering they are a small business and i wanted to support them.Hope this was just a 1 off but wasn't very happy.

It's easy to miss this unassuming little salon in Ferndale but once you walk thru the door you'll find the friendliest staff and some of the best customer service you'll have ever experienced! I had my hair done for my wedding and it was great. I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend giving these gals a go ☺️

Well I’ll be damned. This small and quaint salon isn’t only deep within ferndale & you wouldn’t know it’s there but I just had the BEST haircut of my life today. Service was wonderful, girls were chatty & happy and my god the products they use are GLORIOUS and smell divine. They’ve made a client for life now. If I could give them 100 stars I would. Book in because you will NOT be disappointed.

Was a terrible experience, first off staff did not welcome us we had to sit and wait although we had an appointment for 9am waiting to be served till 9:45am. Staff said already bleached hair would easily take lighter colors, however the final outcome was dark brown which is not what was asked of agreed on. Staff played it off saying they love the colour. When asked about why the color was said to be achievable and why was it not achieved staff discriminated saying that Asian hair can’t go light.

Rachel is amazing and so friendly. The lolly table is also a big hit.

DONT go here unless you want to have your hair ruined and then be blamed for it.buissness name says it all.I went to this store because they posted photos on FB showing they knew how to match /blend blonde..I went into this store with outgrown roots yellowish and white ends. I got a full head of foils and left completely yellow. (?????)i offerd the manager rachel brewster $100 to cover the product even tho the Apprentice" ruined my hair. the police was called so yes I left..I went with $220 cashshe has made false accusations saying I've done this to multiple stores. she has put up my personal information and been very imiture about it all.as for other photos showing previous work that rachel has kindly shared. Tonys in rockingham did that and then i went to JTS who fixed it for me.. this I paid for. Tony didn't charge as it looked bad. (Get ya facts straight)I don't recommend PUNKY HAIR and I find this all nothing but a PUNK ACT.the risk is yours!regards
