Croissant 4* muffin 1*Country bakeries are instantly better, right? All that visit of bricks and fires and bakers in bibs, covered in sweat and flour. The bread looks good here, but I'm reviewing the croissant and muffin. When you're open 6 hours, and charging full Sydney prices, you should be baking your croissant every 2 hours or so. The base of this croissant is very good. But it suffers from too much time in a steamy display. My sense is they were stacked while warm, losing their crispness in the steam and time. The muffin is a real problem. Again, full price for what is essentially a muffin bottom. But the size is a minor problem. The major problem is the recipe. The crumb is just not there. I suspect too much egg and not enough butter, but that's not my role here. It's just not a pleasant eat.As I said, I suspect the bread's the trip here. But if it's for sale, I'm a gonna review it!

on the recommendation of a friend, I headed down the highway to Lagom and I was not disappointed. I ordered a pain au chocolat, oat chai, apple crumble danish and their house bread. All were delicious. service was efficient and friendly.

best place to stop for a coffee and croissant on the princes highway. If your travelling south or north on the highway this is definitely a great place to pull in for a rest, food and coffee where top notch and the lakeside view lovely. having just moved into the neighbourhood stoked to find such a great bakery close to our new home

A very popular bakery, run by a group of enthusiastic and inspired bakers. The quality of the pastries will give any big city hipster bakery a run for their money, luckily for them Lagom is in Burrill Lake!Balance of filling to pastry is perfect, the pastry flakes away with the many laminations worked in, the fruit and custard adds a contrast to the crunch. The sourdough bread is amazing as well. The fruit loaf, as the name suggests, is filled with fruits and not just raisins. The dough has a slight sour to it, is dense, with a bit of softness, the fruits are plentiful but don't compromise the structure.

Great bakery with a good variety of bread and baked goods. Coffee was good too. Make sure you head around the back of the building or down the end of the road to look at the lake while you eat.

Place was super busy when we drove by 1:30pm. We decided to stop. Great and friendly, stacks of fresh breads and cobs of allllll types to choose from etc. Smelt amazing. Sadly, a LOT of the lunch foods and sweets were mostly gone, so is very much a get in early place because of how popular it is!! We had Margarita pizza bread. Delicious. Also, Mocha coffee was well made too :) thanks girls!
