In this tiny corner store you won't hardly have space to move - but it will draw you back every time, as it is one of the best Indian Grocery stores in Sydney's Inner West. Shelves of a myriad of spices rise on either side of you including masalas, cardamom, ground coriander and the hottest chillie powder - I've been back twice to buy it here. They also sell fresh Indian sweets like jalebi and ladoo, as well as the best samosas I have tasted in Sydney. Find a variety of cheap pre-prepared frozen vegetables like okra and beans - real handy when prices soar on fresh produce.You will always find beautiful bunches of fresh coriander on sale here at prices lower than the big name supermarkets. And if you have a penchant for Bollywood films they have that covered too. The elderly owner of the shop is lovely and treats every customer like he has known them for years.There are bus stops on nearby Elizabeth Street, and the Ashfield train station is directly opposite, so you won't have far to carry your spicy haul.

I saw some good reviews and been to this place very first time .I saw many food items are not stored properly as they need to be some of the items likeFrozen desserts ( rasmalai ) which meant to be frozen until sold were in the fridge even written on the box keep frozen .Secondly the rose syrup should be liquid room temperature but it was frozen on the shelf .And the jalebis they were serving were just kind of dumped uncovered .Please keep the food items at proper temperatures as labelled .Thank you

A small sized retail store packed with a lot of Indian groceries. You also get good indian sweets and samosas.

Slightly congested place, sometimes things are out of stock and not in order. You will find most common Indian and Nepali products. Call the shop to check stock before visit.
