Got the chicken burger meal deal for $12 which overall is not a bad deal. Chicken burger, beer battered chips and a can of drink. The burger by itself is $8 so an extra $4 for drink and chips (the chips are very tasty). The burger however was a bit strange. I think it was fish as i've never had chicken quite like that before...

I feel like I should have saved my money as we threw out our fish and chips as they were dreadful. The chips looked and tasted old and the crumbed fish was dry and tasteless , the chicko roll was brunt to a dark brown we have never seen that before and the potato scallop had the thickest batter and the thinest potatoe slice I have seen. We won't be back until next new owners. I have included a photo of our meal back in the bag it came in ready for the bin.

Chips were perfect. Packet was stabbed to release steam. Veggie burger was average, but 1 of the better 1s I've had. I would have liked to try the onion rings, hopefully next time.Chips are visibly weighed for portions. Everything done seemed very precise and purposeful.Everything seemed reasonably clean and organised.My only criticism is that the Chips should be salted in the transition bowl and tossed, instead of salting on the butchers paper.

We haven't been here in a while but decided to try them tonight. Chips were crunchy but that is best I can say. We both had hamburgers with bacon & cheese, unfortunately they came with the thinnest funniest tasting meat patties ever. It was horrible and had a funny reddish colour and a nasty after-taste. Never again.

My first time with the current owners and definitely the last. 2 x young girls on there own lunch time on a Sunday. My battered cod was terrible, I could not eat it and my dim sim burnt to a crisp. Worst fish and chips we have ever had. Sorry but glad I normally go to Fishies.

Be Aware...I ordered mixed servings last night. The chicken dim sims were so over cooked. Black underneath and warm. The Garlic balls also over cooked.Garlic butter in some had dried up.But the serve of fish cocktails were so tiny, their was more batter than fish. And two of them had fins instead of fish.And lastly the home made potatoe scallops.Flat as a pancake and hard and chewy around the outside.
