Some of the staff are rude and abrupt, no customer service. Way too expensive, especially certain drug prices that have been reduced by the government, are not charged appropriatly, Statins available at other pharmacies charge between $6.00 to $10.00, they charged me 17.95.

This pharmacy charges almost FOUR TIMES what I pay for the same prescription in Kingston. I also just waited almost 50mins for a script because they put it aside after what I assume was a very quiet name call that I didnt hear and then they didnt bother calling again.

Incredibly rude staff. Went in on 21/7 for a simple digital thermometer. Staff at front counter too busy talking amongst themselves to notice me at first. Asked for thermometer, was told “nup we don’t have em”. I proceeded to ask where I may obtain one and was greeted with “dunno, no idea” ... thankfully I went straight online and order a click and collect from one of the big chemist chains. Will not be going back here.

Today I walked Into huonville pharmacy with my baby and 2 teenagers.As soon as I entered I was followed by 3 woman pretending to rearrange the shelves.While I was waiting for our scripts these 3 woman navigated over to my children who were looking at the gifts and then pretended to be rearranging the stock on those shelves too while staring at them "At one time I was on the other side of the room watching these woman stalk my kids while pretending to rearranging the bandages.I always take pride in what I wear and how I present myself and I make sure my children do aswell

Excellent pharmacy, great staff who are always helpful and caring. Interesting to note that the last negative reviewer gave poor one star ratings to eleven out of sixteen reviews! 65% poor rating, can’t please everyone I guess.

My local pharmacy that I've been going to for years. The pharmacists Adele and Tony always make honest recommendations and offer good advice in a most accomodating manner. Scripts used to be a little slow but always accurate and properly checked for cross interactions of different meds. To me, that extra minute or two is worth it as they are the last backstop before you take a cocktail of meds. I wish people appreciated the complexity of pharmacy. When the Dr's make a rare mistake, it's the Pharmacists that catch it. For the reviews complaining about speed, Don't mistake speed for best practice.

The pharmacists are very well informed, polite and helpful. After the many awful and humiliating experiences I had at Cygnet pharmacy the Huonville staff have been kind , understanding and supportive. I will drive the extra 30 minutes to Huonville for my health needs and use Cygnet pharmacy only in an emergency.
