Cute little spot to pan for gold or search for gems. Better with a 4WD as tracks are in ordinary condition

Beautiful little camping spot, off grid so bring everything with you. Town about 5 mins away. Can swim, try your luck at gold panning. Nice and quiet, plenty of birds.

One of the best free camps I’ve been to. Flat ground and toilets with toilet paper as well as BBQ pits and water (not suitable for drinking). Fire pits as well. The track leading in was fine but I suspect in wet weather that it gets rutted out. Mown paths down to the water.

Free camp-site. Doesn't offer water to plug into van or power but has a toilet block. Great if you were off grid camping! It is a dirt road in and out.Beautiful little creek and bush walk, take some mosquito spray! We didn't stay the night as a big storm was coming in and we only had 2 wheel drive motorhome (also our water pump was broken so no water) so didnt want to get stuck. But was great to explore and have a look around. Lots of people on-site staying which is good to see.

Really good free camping spot, allows fires with a good fire pit. The river was gently rolling by as we slept/ Great quite spot to stay. Must be self contained, evidence of people using the bush as a toilet!

A nice quiet free camp area. However the GPS will take you the wrong way. If you get to Rifle Range Road you will see a sign to say use Kingston & Devoncourt Roads

Great for an overnighter… longer if you can get a level space down above the water. None of the sites are close to the water. Great swimming area with sandy bottom. Can get busy.

Great spot. Ideal for self contained campers, some long drop toilets. Beautiful section of river. Not many sites level enough for caravans - so get in early to make sure you don't miss out.
