This company outstanding. Their solar and battery installation is excellent. As is their responsiveness post instalment. However, we also bought a heat pump hot water system is a disaster. These systems are NOT suited to Canberra's weather. Whatever you do, do not install one of these if you want reasonable levels of hot water in winter.

Easy and straight forward process to get solar panels installed with ECG that was also thorough. Very knowledgeable on ACT laws that the national installers didnt seem to know. Recently went into the roof to put in some more insulation and the cable run for the panels to the inverter was immaculate and safe for me to work around, reminding me to write this review on a job that was done properly. True professionals.

ECG installed solar panels and an inverter on my house. They were competitively priced, very professional, and clearly have a great deal of experience. ECG have handled both the admin side and the physical side excellently, and have promptly answered any questions I have had following the installation.I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to install solar panels.

I recently had a 10kw SolarEdge/Trina system installed by ECG Electrical after getting quotes from several other providers. I went with ECG for three reasons 1. They came highly recommended by SolarQuotes, 2. I had several friends personally recommend them to me, and 3. Their pricing was fair and good value, and they were very responsive and easy to communicate with. The whole ECG team were very professional at every stage in the process, and had great communication giving me the assurance I needed. Unfortunately, my particular SolarEdge inverter had some issues following install, but it was attended to very quickly, and replaced under warranty and without any fuss at all. The new unit has operated very well since. Really nice people to deal with - a 'night and day' difference when compared to some of the other companies I obtained quotes from... I highly recommend ECG Electrical for solar installs in Canberra if you're after a no-nonsense installer you can trust.

Professional installation with great attention to detail. The team were very helpful throughout the process with excellent communication. 1 year after installation when we needed a inverter firmware update and a new component to make the wifi work (we replaced a home router) the ECG team were out quickly to fix the issue for us. I am currently building a house and inquired about having solar installed. The team at ECG were so professional, gave me lots of options and advice on what could and couldn't be completed. At the end of the day it was decided that now was not the right time to have solar panels installed, however they advised to do some preliminary work (rough in cables/power etc) while the house was being built to ensure that if we decided to have panels installed in the future it would be a very simple task.Honestly, if you are considering having solar installed at your home/business you would be silly not to contact ECG to get their expert advice.Thanks ECG!

We got exactly what we wanted, delivered on time, at a fair price, with excellent follow up service. We installed a 19.9KW system and a Tesla battery. Our power-bill went from about $1400 a quarter to $75 a quarter. Before accounting for rises in power prices, I think it will pay for itself in under 6 years. I look at my Tesla app multiple times a day and watch photons become electrons. I believe we have purchased a great system... I have absolutely zero complaints. ECG have been reliable and responsive. Their staff have been friendly. I only regret not doing it sooner....

Big shout out to the boys of ECG for their hard work to put the panels up. Very responsive and never tired answer our questions. Very good attention to details and did everything they can to make the system work the best for us. Thank you guys! The QCELL panels are also awesome and had the Powerwall almost fully charged even on a cloudy/rainy day!Update - today there is a major power outage in the area. Thanks to the Tesla battery, we have lights and garage door etc are all backed up. The system worked really really well. The neighbour even called me to confirm there is indeed a power outage...
