We engaged BFC kitchens to do a kitchen for us in May 2019 after two months of shopping around and planning.Communicating with their sales consultant was always pleasant. He was professional, clear and conscice in communicating and he always returned phone calls and answered all our questions telling honestly what can be done and what can be done with extra cost. Five stars so far.Kitchen build started in early July and the builders were professional, efficient and friendly. We noticed some issues that could’ve easily been avoided; benchtop laminate corner damaged in transport and shelving laminate broken by overtightened screws during pre-assembly. Both issues were fixed quickly after we notified builders and the sales consultant about them.Kitchen was completed within a week in mid July and before end of July we had to call BFC in to redo the already fixed corner of benchtop laminate as we weren’t happy with it. Also one of the ceiling cornice joints had come loose and cornice was hanging in the air, waiting to fall down. Sales consultant had quit and it took us a while to get to talk to someone and schedule a visit to fix it up. The owner showed up to fix up the defects and the result was perfect. Four stars for lack of communication.Fast forward to January 2020 and we discovered that all this time the rangehood ducting had not been connected to the louvered vent cover that had been installed to look like the job had been done correctly. Emailed the office with photo and asked them when they wanted to come and finish the job. Two weeks of chasing them someone finally turned up, fixed the job and sheepishly left without saying a word. Office sent us photo of completed job later. Three stars for unprofessional communication and behaviour.In April 2020 another piece of the cornice fell down with a bang almost hitting our toddler. Emailed photos of the damage and noted that it had not been nailed or screwed down but was held up entirely by plaster. Again no response from the office and only after three phone calls they agreed to send someone to have a look at it. The owner turned up to fix it up, stating it is not uncommon for cornices to be held only by plaster. He did fix it up quickly on Friday morning while I was at work and had left his card to call him direct if there are any more issues. The cornice fix up was rushed and rough and it was obvious that the workmanship was not up to the previous standards. I rang the owner saying the cornice joint did not look to be of the same standard as the other cornice joints including the one he had previously fixed up. He told me to f* off and hung up.Nobody is perfect and mistakes happen but good professional attitude will retain trust and reputation. Our experience has been that BFC kitchens value quick turnover over quality and reputation and receiving good workmanship is a luck of the draw and not at all consistent.

It would be nice if they came out to do a quote too bad they lost us to someone better

This is a family-orientated Local Business with a passion for great customers service and when asking around I received nothing but great feedback for BFC Kitchens. I am now happy to say I'm part of the team and look forward to BFC updating my personal Kitchen hopefully in the near future!
