Driving in from Sydney to Cessnock, my partner and I was just looking for a cafe to dine in and found this place, the Coffee and the big English breakfast was just delicious and the guys who work here were lovely and friendly, will definitely come back here again.

You certainly won't be hungry when you leave. They serve the kind of food you hope to find in a country town. You won't be disappointed. The food is reasonably priced.

My partner and I decided to grab a bite on our way out and found Blanchie's. So surprised by all the gluten free items. Service was fantastic and we loved our meals. Thank you!

Gluten free and dog friendly! Really excellent service, very tasty food with large portions. The salmon omelette is lovely!

If you are in the Hunter and looking for a great breakfast head to Blanchies on Leisure .. the best eggs Benedict i have ever had and poached eggs on sourdough .. friendly staff and good price .. give this place a go and you are sure to return

Do not bother wasting your money.We opted against going to McDonalds for breakfast, in hindsight that would've been cheaper, faster, tastier and healthier than this place.The Cafe is a local chicken shop that serves breakfast food.They did not have ice for iced coffee on a Sunday morning.The scrambled eggs were leathery and dripping in oil.The omelette was similar, cheese wasn't melted, smoked salmon had a strange taste.Huge dollops of butter on the side of supermarket quality white bread.Only saving grace was the staff were very friendly accommodating.2 meals and 2 bottles of orange juice cost over $48. Quality not worth half of that price.

Had breakfast/brunch here with our 2 kids food was great staff very friendly and extremely well priced breakfast and milkshakes were awesome

Nice staff and decent menu options. The place feels very old and needs a update with decorations etc to compete with other cafes in the area - it's not very inviting at the moment. The food was average but cheap at least. (As fries come with most meals it would be good to see those improve).Hope this new business makes some changes and does well.
