The owners here are just like friends you’ve never met.Helpful, accomodating, positive, it made me want to come back here again.I had a late check in and early check out, no worries.Clean, quiet and comfortable, great value and very happy that I choose here.Highly recommend.

I recently stayed overnight at the Country Mile Motor Inn, while travelling down from Far North Qld to Victoria. This was my last overnight stay on the road. And what a pleasant surprise this motel turned out to be. If it's impeccable cleanliness you like, well this is the place for you! Even though the rooms are an older style, what overrides that minor detail is the fact that the rooms are the cleanest I have ever seen. Even the air conditioner was clean and fresh! Added niceties included the bucket and squeegee to wash the car window, and lovely pool. Everything tidy, clean and fresh. Friendly service provided by husband and wife team! Thanks to Rebekah and Matthew for providing us travellers such a comforting stop over. I'll be on the road back to FNQ again soon, and look forward to spending my first night at the Country Mile Motor Inn, Forbes!

Very spacious and clean. It's that clean I nearly walked into the bathroom glass!I didn't have any problems with the noise like others have mentioned but maybe because I am a deep sleeper and my room was furthers from the road.Random bonus: There's foxtel!

This is an excellent motel. It provided everything that we were looking for after a long day's drive : a great location - extremely quiet and close to shops, very clean and well maintained rooms, a car park bigger than the MCG and an air conditioner that cooled the room without shaking out the mortar between the bricks. The owners were extremely polite and friendly. I can highly recommend this motel to all travellers.

The lovely lady, Rebecca at reception did so well to make us feel welcome even know we didn’t have a booking and they were close to closing .They had a cancellation which was in our favour and we even got fresh milk and bikkies.It was 8pm .We had broken down at the 40 km bay, south of Forbes.The road works snapped a airline off the rear which we had to get a tow truck.The only problem was a 10 hours wait time to get to us .So emergency accommodation.We said a prayer and very thankful and greatful for the help .Super a++++++++++Will be back xxoo.Thank you .

The Country Mile Motor Inn is clean, neat and close to the main Street in Forbes. Basic accommodation with small nice touches like a BBQ in the pool area and window washing squeegee for guests to wipe the bugs off their windscreens. The rooms have split system air conditioning which is a huge plus.

Very very nice & clean, friendly staff, very good costumer service. I have stayed many motels in Forbes and this is the best only one place to stay among others.Thank you for your great service and keep it up..
