It's a Sunday night, it's warm and after a long stroll along the beach, my beautiful date and I decided we'd get some fish and chip. I order the Flathead grilled and she ordered the Rockling. Both tasted like it was from Thursday. We thought a couple of king prawns would be yum also, they were not. The chips were good and the pinball machine is a great way to pass the time while you wait....

The lightly-battered fish is delicious without being weighed down by oil or heavy batter. Do a good fish-shop burger, too. Wait times can blow out during peak times, so plan ahead. But that comes with a popular eatery. Persevere & you will be rewarded.

Paid $37 for 2 X fish , 4 X potato cakes and chips .Not only expensive but everything was horrible.Potato cakes , fish and chips were not fresh at all.OLD FOOD , WE THREW IT IN THE BIN !!!!Do not buy from here !!!!HORRIBLE. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered souvlaki fish scallops potato cakes and dim simsWas short one scallopAnd the souvlaki was a 6/10The rest was 3/10. Won’t be going back. Cheers

Interesting experience, I felt sorry on the day we went as only two people were working. Order took 45 mins to cook and the place was very busy and packed. Ordered the concourses pack, good deal for two flakes, four calamari rings and two potato cakes with min chips. Fish was really yummy but chips were cold and calamari rings were below average.

Ordinary. Grilled flake was dry and hard to chew. Calamari poor, chips dry and tasteless. Won’t be going again

Average nothing special. Service slow and was one short on potato cakes I ordered. Seems to be a normal thing from reviews, even though I got the lady to confirm my order it was still short. Asked for well done and definitely not, soggy chips.

The service was extremely slow. The food was very over priced and extremely oily.I ended up throwing most of it away and going across the road to the other fish and chip shop where they met a standard.The best part about the food was hearing it hit the bottom of the bin. I would not return to this takeaway shop if it was the last thing on earth. I would rather eat sand and starve to death. Putrid.

Only just found this little gem after working in the area for 4 years. Great fish and chips and even let you change the fish in the pack. Price is pretty good as well! Definitely be back!
