Kim and her beautiful daughter were so amazing words can not express our gratitude. We were seriously in such despair over another shop error. We had 4 days before my daughters wedding and we were able to walk out with the wow factor dress, her patience and time she gave us was truly so valued. Had such a lovely time in South Coast brides today. I have a wedding in 3 days so I really needed to find something. Kim asked a few questions and then picked a number of dresses to try on and every single one of them suited my body. The issues ended up being to just choose one. She made me feel so comfortable, she listened and delivered. Will absolutely be coming back for my next event.

I had the most amazing time at South Coast Brides and cannot recommend you go enough! There needs to be an option for more than 5 stars!I'd had some less than amazing experiences at other stores trying to find the perfect dress, especially around having a larger bust and trying to find a dress that would make me feel comfortable but also beautiful. South Coast Brides was recommended to me by a friend and I made the 2 hour drive there with my Mum in February. We were absolutely blown away by how beautiful the dresses were and how amazing the service was. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind, offered constructive advice and made such a safe space for what can be a stressful time.Kim was incredible and knew so many details and facts about the dresses, for example we noticed a difference between one dress and another despite looking very similar but we couldn't figure out what it was. Kim noticed and identified the tiny way in which they were made differently that I'm sure no one but her would have ever noticed. She knew everything you could possibly know about the dresses in her store and made the experience incredible. She also made sure to put me in some absolutely stunning dresses, until we just kept leaning towards one in particular which ended up being the one!I got the call it was in store two weeks ago, made the two hour drive again and had the most amazing time all over again. Trying my dress again and knowing it was perfect was such a wonderful feeling, and seeing Kim's face in the photos we took smiling from ear to ear - you can just tell that she has so much joy in this job and in this store. I purchased my wedding dress from South Coast brides in 2022 at a Stella York trunk show. I had a great experience in store, Kim and the store assistants were fantastic and really helped me find my dress. I most definitely recommend if you want a lovely experience in a welcoming store.The reason for my 4 star review is the recommendation I was given for alterations, which was an employee/friend of the store (that is what I was advised at the time). The seamstress did a terrible job on my dress. It was awful, I was in tears all night. I ended up having to take my dress to an actual bridal specialist seamstress weeks out from my wedding to try and get it fixed. The new seamstress took one look at what this other seamstress did and could not believe what she was seeing. She was horrified and described it as completely unacceptable. I showed friends and family, they were disgusted. And these were basic alterations. When I tried to raise my concerns, the original seamstress was rude and acted as though it was all in my head. Do not go with the store recommended seamstress. Since my dress, I have heard of other brides having the same experience. I believe the store should be recommending competent seamstresses who specialise in bridal gowns, not someone just because they are a 'friend'. No bride should have to go through what I did.I still recommend the store completely. But find another seamstress - do your research!

Found the perfect wedding dress here! Lots of options and designs. The bridal appointment was great and the ladies were super helpful in finding my dream dress that I didn’t even know existed!Same for bridesmaids lots of options and great turn around times! Even got some guest dresses from in here also, with great turn around times too!I do however wish I did more research on the recommendations I was given for after the purchase of these dresses, as the lack of professionalism of the reference was truely appalling, I honestly couldn’t have had a worse, more stressful experience just weeks out from my wedding. This affecting the whole experience of buying a dress, and the relationship built between people prior to this. I think it’s super important for future brides as I would hate for this to happen to anyone else, as I now also know it’s not just me it happened too. Put a rather large dampener on my wedding experience!

Kim was so amazing to deal with and made me feel so comfortable with the process. So many amazing gowns to choose from it was genuinely so hard to pick just one.Would definitely recommend to any friends or anyone looking for their wedding dress.

South Coast Brides is a must for any bride-to-be. Kim and the team were warm, accommodating, and helpful in my search for the perfect dress. They worked within my budget and let me try on as many of their beautiful dresses as I wanted. When I asked for their advice they gave me helpful feedback without being pushy or making me feel rushed. Thanks for creating a lovely experience for me at a very special time in my life.
