We shared a fixed price 3 course dinner: a satay of separate skewers of chicken, beef and pork with peanut sauce, pickles, and green papaya salad, then came a tray with stewed beef, fish curry and grilled fish, and finally a dessert platter with fresh fruit, coconut pancakes with dipping sauce and a black rice pudding. All were nicely present, fresh and tasty. Our server was very personable and enthusiastic. We sat outside with tiki torches blazing. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly, so a popular neighborhood place. Pictured are the satay and dessert trays.

I was there on a Friday night... Busy but still some tables. All the food was delicious and the service was very good. The little charcoal burners keep everything warm while you eat. The crocodile sate is minced and tender. The grilled prawns/squid/fish are marinated and so tender with just enough bite to them. The banana fritters are crisp and crunchy and outstanding!

Very good vibe on a Tuesday night. Located right across the hospital as part of the hotel. Not authentic but overall nice food modified for the locals with small portions for the set menu will avoid it next time by ordering a la carte for the same costs.

Only complaint is we over-ate! The banquet was delicious for 5 of us. Really nice dishes, superb service, good ambience with the Balinese Gamelan music in the background. We only had one night in Cairns and I invited my Cairns friends who will all come again.

Beautifully decorated venue, tiki torches and moody lighting gives you Island vibes! The service was incredible - such friendly staff and super helpful in recommending dishes to order. Even though the food came out super fast, the food was fresh and hot off the stove. Every dish we tried was packed with flavour, we really couldn’t fault anything. Highly recommend the skewers with sate, prawn curry and chicken salad. And don’t forget the coconut juice! So sweet and refreshing in the humid weather.By far the best place we visited in Cairns!Definitely recommend booking a table so you don’t miss out!

We ordered the $59 per head banquet and were not disappointed. The food flavours were outstanding and the serving sizes were quite large. Although a couple of the dishes were a little too salty for our liking, it did not diminish the enjoyment we had in tasting the variety of dishes that were served up to us. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and professional. With the open kitchen set up, it was nice to be able to watch the chefs cooking up a storm. We will definitely return to this restaurant again to try some other dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't tried Balinese cooking.

I can't even put it lightly when I say that this was, without a doubt, the absolute best restaurant I have ever been to so far.I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the preparation and presentation given to it. My partner and I had a skewer starter with what seemed to be spiced peanut sauce which just was amazing at every bite. Then we had our mains, my partner having Nasi Goreng and myself having the Beef Rendang, and I was stunned into silence by how incredible and flavourful it was. Drinks-wise I had the Pacific Cocktail and my Partner had the Royal Hawaiian Mocktail. In all, amazing food, warm atmosphere, kind staff, just incredible. Thank you so much for the experience.

Didn’t expect I can find a good Balinese restaurant in Cairns!I was staying in Bayleaf hotel, and a friend has recommended this restaurant, so ordered room service and it didn’t disappoint. The Nasi Goreng was really good - my tummy was happy :)
