I have never seen a ghost at Picton Mushroom Tunnel. I tried, I sat, I listened, I connected with my spiritual self and I stepped in a puddle, but I never saw a ghost.I have pretended to be a ghost up there and made people run away in terror but in my defence Picton is a pretty boring town and there is not much to do outside of amusing yourself with puerile games.

Old Picton train tunnel.Entrance off main Rd is a green gate, recommend driving a Suv or 4wd as gets wet, muddy and driving over balast on the dirt track.Inside tunnel gets water inside so not allways able to walk through. Nice to see the old tunnel still standing strong.Feel free to follow Wozzel local guide on Google maps. Worth a walk through just to hear the endless reverberation of every noise you make (we sang and it was very cool!)It’s muddy inside, wear some old sneakers.

Very funky, I don't know how to explain it. It's ethereal.I naturally get feelings of dread whenever I go to these types of places (like graveyards and old historic buildings) and I definitely felt that, so there's definitely something going on about it

To avoid disappointment, bring your own mushrooms. No need to pack extra tunnel though, there's plenty of that to go around.

Grew up in Picton as a child, I have had many paranormal experiences in and around the Picton area..The mushroom tunnel is very haunted...I felt a drop in temperatures. Seen orbs ..Heard many noises that couldn't be explained..I have seen Emily the ghost in the mushroom tunnel ..She ran her hand down my back..Saying get out..
