Cosy, comfortable, excellent friendly staffs and amenities for enjoyment. Food, drinks, cafe and restaurant awesome.

We hopped off the train to head back to the car when the club called out to us to have a couple of late night caps. The club was quite busy with something or nothing going on in every corner. There was dancing and music, and there were quiet nooks and crannies full of people enjoying their Saturday night. We picked a quiet but busy sports lounge and watched cricket and league at the same time. I'm not a big fan of the pokies, but I understand community clubs couldn't do what they do without them, so I'll check that at the door. Overall, it was a great pitstop on the way home. I hope to get back to try their dining in the future.

I love coming here but there seems to be changes which tend to make it feel a little constrictive on the ground floor. It was quite an open area. Now it is like 3 separate areas almost like a maze! The the restaurant is still there but it was ill-defined and it was hard to see. And, it became just a snack bar! Sorry we didn't go upstairs this time s I don't know what was up there. Disappointing.

Casino, casino, casino.It might be a “Catholic Club” by name but by all other accounts it’s a good sized casino. No table games of the traditional sense either.Did I enjoy my time at this casino however…F*ck yeah I did! The presentation was lovely, the bar staff were tops and it was very clean and tidy.Got some good wins as well and I was keen to stay the night but sadly work intrudes and I had to be responsible.Anyway it’s another of these “clubs” that are casinos!

Hi, I went in for dinner last Friday 18/2/2023 with my two friends. They were excited to try the month of February Seafood special in the Bistro up stairs. I ordered a chicken caesar salad, my two friends order a SEAFOOD PLATTER FOR TWO = $78. We got so disappointed, this is our first disappointment in this club on food and false advertisementHere are the photos.....

Lovely place for a visit with lots of food options. Interior design is very welcoming and spacious . Staff are friendly and seem to enjoy working there as they all have a welcoming smile .The coffee and cake taste good .Good place to meet a friend or drop in when waiting for your doctors appointment.Would come again .

Service was good but wouldn't recommend eating at the Sports Bar. The pizzas were decent. Pepperoni & supreme. Loaded fries were cold. Korean chicken was cold, old, dry, tough. Nothing like korean chicken. Nachos weren't great either.

The standards of the club has dropped drastically. Waited almost an hour for food at Lloyd’s. Sat at a table that hadn’t been cleared. The suited fellow cleared a small portion, and we waited an hour, and asked two different waiters to have the table cleared. We got to the Bistro at 1920hrs, and the table was finally cleared at 2019hrs, so we can proceed to eat our food. The photos shows that we had moved the previous plates/cups to the end of the table, and we had wiped our end down with disinfectant wipes that we had brought along with us. What happened to the floor managers who would walk around and ask if everyone was good/happy?

Two handy tips - become a member, it’s cheap and you’ll instantly gain access to discounted food and beverages. Tip 2, if you’re planing on eating in the bistro here, when you order you’ll be asked which table that you’re sitting at - so, before you order, secure your table, remember the table number, then order. We ordered the Atlantic salmon and a steak - both meals were great. And a person, from the kitchen, delivered the meals to our table. This club has been clean every time that we’ve visited. The club is well known for its cheaper meals, cafe, friendly atmosphere and gambling facilities- in fact, an area not far from the front foyer has been recently converted to a sports bar with gambling machines and an extremely large TV - it’s a punter’s paradise. Staff have always been friendly at this club. A sign at the club today says that the current bistro area is about to be upgraded, and the bistro will be moved temporarily upstairs. The facility is wheelchair friendly. The club is located in a handy position - opposite the train station and taxi rank - the bus stops are listed one block away. There’s plenty of on-site car parking spots here.

Nice club!Good fish collection, some very big. See photo. Very rare to see a club with this.I mean, this is supposedly to be a club, not Chinese Garden in the city. Amazing.
