Genelite

In my 30 years of operating in the Electrical Industry this has to be one of the worst organizations I have ever dealt with. This organization was contracted for the supply and delivery of an enclosed 250kVA diesel generator in 2022 in Brisbane.Too many issues to list here however most importantly the supply of the generator was continually delayed for months, I had to follow up constantly to receive updates and the generator was not supplied in accordance with the RFT provided to Genelite. The tender provided from Genelite did NOT exclude the items detailed within the RFT therefore in commercial terms they are generally deemed to be included within the tender proposal, well not according to Genelite!!The enclosed canopy is NOT weatherproof, please do assume this, they are not suitable to installation outside unless under a structure or awning is installed over the generator canopy as there is always evidence of excessive amounts of water within the canopy after rain. The one star is for Erica as she was extremely polite and sympathetic to the continual supply delays.

The Team at Genelite were so helpful in both advice, tech help and order processing. They kept me advised of the progress all the way and nothing was a problem for them. One of the best customer experiences I've had in a long time !

Highly recommend the Kubota Kj-S130-AU-B for full off grid backup a great machine that is reasonable in the noise department and capable of providing the power shown on the spec sheet. Ricky and the team at Genelite where very helpful, great service guys!

Rickie, Kelly and the team went absolutely above and beyond to help out in a time of crisis. The Genelite team are true life-savers with fantastic service. I can’t thank them enough or speak highly enough of their quick, professional and friendly team. Much appreciation from all of us affected by the Brisbane floods!!

The delivery was a long time coming due to circumstances beyond anyone's control but other than that this was an easy and painless operation.All the staff at Genelite were easy to contact and pleasant to deal with, special thanks to Erica who took most of my calls and made sure everything went smoothly.

Michael was extremely helpful and helped me better understand how my generator works. 10/10 service!

We bought one of these larger models for our Weddings Centre.The day it was installed there were issues, we were referred to their ‘Warranty Department ’ even being 24 hours old. Al sorts of excuses like it wasn’t level - it was level within 2mm.Service : Out of their service area from where it came from, it covered under warranty. Shane that want mentioned when we bought it ( Ballina to Brisbane area - not that far for a 40 k purchase )Ricky was empathetic not his problem.We ended up paying for our own Diesel Engineer to look at it.He managed to get it going for a few minutes, modified some of the factory settings that were unfit for transport of the generator.We copped that cost. Easier than arguing with this once sold you are gone people.Told set to go by the Diesel Mechanic.Did weekly reboots, connected it to solar batteries then a permanent lead. An electrician has visited the unit at least 6 times at our expense. He has even given up.It. Has. Never. Worked.Run the other way from this company .Ricky, the business owner within 5 minutes of making a 40 k sale said, write me a good review.Sorry I cannot. Only wish I could have. It doesn’t work. You sold me a lemon.

Great service from both Kelly and Erica each time I called. Great product knowledge and helpful friendly service. I would highly recommend the Genelite team if you are looking for a generator, the team will give good advice to ensure you get the right generator for you particular needs. Look forward to dealing with them in the future.
