Couldn’t have thought of a more peaceful and relaxing setting for our short baby moon. A gorgeous valley setting amongst a tonne of wildlife. A gorgeous cottage with everything you need, the food packages were of excellent quality, and the service was warm, friendly and genuine. Highly recommend Blair Athol Estate for a romantic luxury escape.

Highly recommended place to stay in the beautiful Hunter region. We stayed in the picturesque 'Athol cottage' for a weekend getaway. The acommodation was stunning, beautifully decorated and the personal touches enhanced the country magic. The breakfast packages were a must have on the surrounding verandah and thoroughly enjoyed - absolutely delicious.Thankyou to Mel and team for your warm hospitality and sharing your beautiful estate.

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend stay here for her birthday. The Athol Cottage was a delight to stay in. A lovely combination of rustic charm and modern comforts. We had everything we needed for the weekend and were left to our own devices to enjoy the fireplace, welcome champagne and hot tub. The valley scenery, birds and wildlife made the location idyllic and peaceful. I thoroughly recommend it as a place to get away from everything and relax.

What a pleasant surprise! We felt privileged to be able to stay at this very peaceful & beautiful property. The cottage is well appointed & very comfortable. We can't wait to come back for our next escape. The breakfast inclusions were plentiful and the team were friendly and helpful. The resident dogs were very friendly and we loved how Brewster would join us on the golf cart for a ride around the property :-) thanks again - Bernard & Belinda

We stayed for 3 nights and wish we stayed longer! The 2 bedroom house is just superb, has a beautiful outlook and everything you need to be comfortable and not need to leave which is exactly what we wanted. The breakfast was delicious, one night we had the pizza hamper for dinner which was great and had plenty of leftovers. We also enjoyed the local catering offered. We can't wait to come back.

Superb accommodation in a beautiful country setting with such attention to detail to make you feel that much more special. Very generous breakfast is included consisting of fresh produce ready to cook and serve with minimal effort.

Amazing place! We stayed there for our little weekend get away celebrating the first day we met! It was magical from when we first arrived! Felt like we had the property to ourselves well sharing with all the kangaroos, horses and wombats. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, huge cheeseboard, unlimited breakfast trays especially the waffles. Love the champagne, drinks and all the veg/fresh herbs. Can’t wait to stay there again and hopefully we can order the dinner rib experience to try ♥️
