☆Avoid this dealer at all costs☆My daughter was sold a lemon. We got the golden treatment when we visited. The salesman was even nice to my kids.Very shortly after the 3 month warranty was up, problems started. My daughter spent a lot of money fixing a few problems at a local dealer, so i called Lanza and explained what had happened, only to have been given no reasonable excuse or even an appology. They claimed they could not be responsible for any prior work done on the car. We're not responsible for what the last mechanic has done". I posted a review in here only to recieve a phone call shortly after asking me to remove my poor review. The sales man said he would look into what could be done to compensate my daughter. I heard nothing back

If I could give this business negative stars I would!Vince is the most despicable and dishonest individual I have ever come across.He has wasted two weeks of my time due to not being able to source parts which Mercedes would’ve done for almost half the price!Vince is a liar and a thief, avoid this business at all costs! You have a better chance fixing your car on your own because the workshop is left unattended with the box of keys open for anyone to grab!

I recently purchased a used vehicle from Lanza Automotive and whilst I will admit, I was worried about all the bad reviews online before the fact, I was glad to have given them a chance. I dealt with Peter and Theo. From the moment I arrived we were able to quickly build rappport and understanding. Peter did not try any of the common annoying sales techniques and instead, let me make up my own mind. Upon my inspection, the vehicle seemed to be highly maintained and had no faults. Both Peter and Theo were easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions and queries immediately and honestly. Lanza Automotive were happy to meet my requests and the whole process was quick and easy. Now over a week later, after having my own mechanic check over the vehicle, I can now say with all my confidence that I bought a quality vehicle at a good price and I couldn't be happier. Bought my ML320 from these guys and I took it home to find oil leaking all over my driveway. I took it back 3 times and told them what my mechanic said was the problem on the third visit they advised me that my drivers side door has a scratch on it but they hadn't done it. Not sure why they would tell me that if they hadn't done it. I haven't taken the car back there as I didn't want further scratches. The car has been nothing but problems ever since. Would strongly advise against anyone biuying from them. I wish I had read the reviews prior to buying from them.You're response below is incorrect. As discussed on the phone an hour after I put this review up I did take take the car in 3 times which you have record of and the problem was still not fixed. It was a waste of time bringing it back you as well as an inconvenience.The below statements are completely false. I did I took the vehicle to you 3 times within the 3 month warranty period. And I didn't speak to you when I picked up the car my husband did so not sure why you are lying. Your fake positive reviews below are a joke. Not sure how you are still in business.

Avoid making the effort, they don’t.I had arranged through a car sales advert to inspect a vehicle they had for sale and was told it was getting a RWC and would be ready the late next afternoon. Scheduled a meet up time for 3pm the next day.This was Confirmed by Message received: Hello, the Nissan navara is currently in the workshop getting the RWC. Should be ok to view and test drive Friday late afternoon or Saturday morning. Thank You “name deleted”The advert was subsequently placed on hold online!When I called at 2:30pm the next day to check if the vehicle was ready. I was told by the same sales person, “sorry, I think that the car may have sold now, a guy from interstate had said he would come that day by 4pm and pick it up”Well I’m sorry, but that’s just bloody rude. If you make an arrangement for someone to inspect it, they got in first. You don’t offer it to the next caller and not even bother to call the first interested party back, not even a message.Typical dodgy dealer tactics. Avoid like the plague!

How refreshing to meet a bunch of professional mechanics!I went to Lanza to have a second hand engine sourced and fitted for my BMW. From my first initial phone call to the completion of the job, the guys have all been very polite, professional and offered great customer care during all my follow up questions after completion the of the job. Many people have had bad experiences with mechanics or maybe just bought a lemon! If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic then I would suggest putting your past experiences behind you and giving these guys a call!To top off the great work they also offered me free parking whenever I had to do anything in South Melbourne!Thanks guys!

My car was sent in for a headgasket replacement by Lanza Motors to replace the headgaskets on my Subaru in late 2020.The lhs head gasket failed just over a year later and around 15,000km later.When sending the engine off (once again) for the headgaskets to be replaced, the engine reconditioning shop inspected the head gasket and determine that the replacement process was unprofessional and contributed to the failure.Upon contacting Lanza, they denied all responsibility and were unwilling to come to any agreement.Do not risk being left without a car! Take your car elsewhere.

I've been a service customer for 4 years and I would not trust my cars with anyone else. Honest diagnostics and honest prices. Never tried to up-sell anything to me. Between services occasionally a blinker bulb will go, I've brought it in straight away, they change it, don't even charge me for it until the next service (and then only for the part, no labour). I just returned from there today as my car had an issue and I wasn't sure how serious it was. They diagnosed it, did a bit of tweaking and charged me nothing. Not even their time. Can't believe some of the reviews on here. But we all know it's usually the minority of disgruntled customers that go to the trouble to make a fuss and complain and write a bad review. I'm sure if every happy customer (which is the vast majority) bothered to write a review it would be easily 5 stars! Sorry it took me so long to write this review but after looking after my father's car for the first time last week (he was delighted with the way he was treated and the price), my daughter's car, and the kindness shown today, it would be ungrateful not to write something. And no, nobody at Lanza Automotive put me up to this. They just plain deserve it!
