Highly recommend a visit here where Jenny and her team does an amazing job to rescue and release bats in need! A very informative tour given by Jenny and a volunteer. We enjoyed seeing the bats up close and personal, something we never thought we would ever do. They are such cute little creatures!!

It was very informative, entertaining and the bats were very very cute!!! It was wonderful to see people caring so much about the wildlife. And learning about all the things that we can do to help them thrive. A must do in Atherton. A highlight for the kids !!!

Absolutely amazing, the volunteers do a great job and care about the bats so much. We learnt a lot about the different species of bats, current threats affecting them, the whole process of rescuing and releasing them... Great to raise awareness about these animals who are often misunderstood and disliked. We loved seeing them up close, they are very cute, and we loved seeing microbats as well as those are rarely seen in the wild. Bats are the sweetest thing and I'm so grateful to the volunteers for their amazing work ❤️

One of the best tours we've taken in quite a while - the hosts are doing a fantastic job of educating visitors about the critical role that native bats play - tour was interesting and educational at the same time - well worth it!

Absolutely go here if you can. This place does incredible work rehabilitating bats suffering from tick paralysis and bolstering wild populations of some critically endangered species that are essential pollinators for the oldest rainforest in the world. You get to see the bats up close and personal, and they give you lots of time to observe them. They are SO CUTE - especially the baby flying foxes. They share a huge amount of information on bat behavior, diet, etc. It was really an amazing experience and super important for learning about the threats these animals are facing and what people can do to help. You need to call or email in advance to book a tour.
