Goulds Circuit walking track
Be prepared for a rocky path upward. The inclusion of some pine steps periodically does give some relief for your legs. Bush pigs and goats potter around unperturbed by humans. Beautiful scenery and sandstone steps lead you to a tough rock scramble to get to the top of Macha Tor, where on a clear day the views are 360 degrees. The map does not clearly show that there is not a trail down off the Tor. You will need to go down the steps to the track again and turn right downhill. You need strong knees and reasonable fitness. The walk says 3 hours but is very manageable in 2. Would not take children.
