Nice standard bakery with a selection of all time favorites such as breads, bread rolls, pies and pastries and some special items such as decorated cupcakes for kids. Nothing special but I couldn’t fault them either. The food tastes nice and fresh and prices were fair. A lot of parking available direct behind bakery. Nice for the kids: the bakery is monkey themed and full of stuffed monkeys.

Been there a few times as they were always pretty good. The last time I went there which was the 3 of November I got a curry pie. I ended up becoming a fondant machine all night. Never again

The Flour Monkey Bakery is a fantastic bakery. Large range and reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a wide range of gluten free, nut free products. Our number one bakery.

I bought two items today that tasted so bad, plasticky like it's been sitting in the cabinet for weeks. The coffee slice is absolutely foul, the topping tastes like it's made of copha and the rest tasted old and bland. Really disappointed, you had big boots to fill.

Be good if the bakery was considerate of the ppl who actually live around that store.... WITHOUT FAIL everyday in-between 4 and 4.30am ill get woken up by inconsiderate reverse beepers ppl yelling and laughing obnoxiously then you also have to put up with the trades at 5 just when you thought you could go back to sleep they ALL decide to sit outside your house with their trucks and Ute's running im only getting a pie" is the response... then you buy a pie and every SINGLE pie I've bought in my 39 yrs of living in Carina has ended up all over my hands as they ALWAYS fall apart the pies are terrible idk how ppl like to have hot meat all over their hands band in the packet than the pie they actually consumed.... VERRY BAD PIES...... you don't even get good Friday or Xmas day off why does the bakery need to be open when EVERY OTHER STORE IS CLOSED"

Best steak bacon cheese pies and I have tried them all over Brisbane. Excellent cakes and sweets too. Best bakery around

I give this place six months! Since the new owners took over, and rebranded it as The Bread Corner, they are grinding it into the ground. The pies visibly have less filling, the cake display cabinets have halved. This has gone from a thriving business with great customer service and consistently good bakery items to blugh! I just called in for my favourite custard indulgence cake and they are no longer selling it. There were about five pies left in the heater (whereas when it was Flour Monkey, they were always bringing out pies hot from the oven!). I ended up just grabbing a carrot cake muffin and it was so stale it was like biting into a brick. Won't be back. So sad to see Flour Monkey go :(
