Stayed at a powered site and visited caves. 2 Adults and 2 Children u10. Good park and plenty to do over a couple of days. The museum/theatre was very interactive. The tour of the caves was conversational and informative. The Japanese garden manicured and relaxing. We've left the fossil walk for 'next' visit. We were impressed, We'll be back!

We went to the Gaden Cave and our tour guide Paul was wonderful and engaging! He gave wonderful snippets of local history beautifully mixed with humour and his respect for our First Nations people was evident!! A truly enjoyable experience.

A small park with powered sites right on edge of town. Sites are reasonable size. Ammenities adequate for number of sites and clean.Noise from trucks travelling through the night. It didn’t bother us as we parked in a site that backed onto the river. But there are sites that are close to a turn in the main road where trucks change gear.My only complaint was that I rang 5 times and had to leave message., just to confirm availability and site price. But $26 per night for 2 adults was ok.

Outstanding experience and service.Absolutely loved the cave tour. Westy the tour guide was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and so welcoming. He knew the caves very well and the surrounding area, he was a happy and warm gentleman, such a great asset to the team there at the caves. We loved the experience and all the staff we ran into at the cafe/shop were great too. I highly recommend this definitely worth the drive.

We did not have chance to see the cathedral cave. But whatever we were allowed to tour was a great display of the work of nature. The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. She took time to explore and explain the caves and the crystal formations.

We dropped into Wellington caves on the way home. My son and I had a great time and the tour guide catered to my 5yr old. He was so excited. We even call a week later to ask about one of the mega beast and the lady was so happy to help. Thank you my son and I have been playing caves for weeks, you made such a positive impression.

Day trip to see Gardens and Caves, although tours booked out. Managed to get our teenage son on the tour and he was happy. Golf course beautiful. Ancient landscapes interesting and interactive wall a hit. Field of Fossils interesting and the view is sublime. Many campers, but not overbooked. Beautiful spot.

Fantastic experience at Wellington Caves. We stayed in the golf view suites that will work for up to a family of four. Great vibe around the camp area, people keep to themselves but happy to have a chat. Kids can get around unsupervised on bikes or old school walks with torches at night. You can get a fire going when conditions permit. Great staff in the caves centre-super friendly and make great coffee. Wellington Town is also a great spot to visit. Lots of places to eat with a nice country vibe. Cave tours book out quickly so buy online in advance. The Wellington golf course is right next to the caves complex also run by great old school country people. I highly recommend you visit the Wellington caves complex.
