Such a great hotel took my wife and mother for a late lunch today on Mother’s Day what a afternoon amazing food and atmosphere staff was flat out but composed due to being busy and dealing with the elements of the weather such a great venue so good to see old school hotel. please never change I never write a review but this is well deserved to have an opportunity to show how much our mothers mean to us you guys made me look like a legend for choosing your venue

House wine $12 small glass. Nice atmosphere. Standard pub menu with occasional good dishes. Easy for families with kids. Casual & country vibe.

Love this place. The food is amazing and despite it being packed, the wait time was spot on. No idea how they managed it given the crowd! The music was good and the wait time for drinks was very short given the numbers! Can't wait to go back!

This is a great pub in an absolutely beautiful location. Have been many times since moving into the area, and love the trivia particularly, always bring our visitors from out of the area here. I've always found the staff friendly and the service pretty quick (with one exception during a gig). Food is all nice, and some items are stand outs (the brussel sprouts!) and the rotating specials where there are usually lots of vego options make it not boring. (As a non-meat eater who doesn't like mushrooms I do feel slightly betrayed that the cauliflower burger has recently become a mushroom one..) but there are still other choices for me. I disagree with other reviews saying it's overpriced, food prices have gone up a lot lately and I think this place is on par with other pubs in the area, eating out isn't cheap these days. Love your work Eltham!

Ordered 3 meals...after 30 minutes the hot chips turned up, another half hour still waiting for the rest of it, chips cold. Had to systematically ask three different staff members what was happening, the first just giving a sassy reply about how busy they were (I've been fed within 25 minutes at the Eltham at a time when there were three times the crowd). It wasn't till, an 1 hour 15 later, we requested a refund so we could leave that our meals hurriedly arrived. Ironically the snapper, the only thing on the plate, was overcooked.

If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. Today I was working in Eltham and looking after a friend's dog. I decided to go down to the Eltham Pub for a pub feed as I had heard the food was great.Upon arrival, I overhead the guy running the joint say make sure you serve everyone else before this girl"

Cute atmosphere, great flavours on the menu (just wish more were vegan), decent choice of beers on tap, great live music, & multiple areas to hang in or out. Toilets were limited (2 women's, 1 men's cubicle, no option for GNC folks or disabled people as far as we could see) but in decent cleanliness. Also scored 30+ mosquito bites but that may have been walking from our car to the venue - will wear repellant next time but would be great if the venue used citronella oil burners or something as a natural deterrent too.

Expecting good things but unfortunately that’s not what we got. $30 for a classic chicken parmi (way overpriced within itself) and for it to come out small and basic, was disappointing. It was served with a massive side of lettuce with no variety, no seasoning, and a bad aftertaste. Same experience with the $25 eggplant parmi, extremely small, dry and with bad tasting salad. Chips on both meals were bland and half cooked- could easily taste their cheapness.Service was fine, drinks were average. great venue but such a disappointing experience with the food.

I can’t remember the name of the chicken kebabs I ate with flat bread, they were on the specials board as a starter. But… wow yummo. I made sure my plate was scraped clean. The atmosphere is a great vibe with live music. Love it!!
