What a wonderful little spot this is! The coffee was incredible & the food was really tasty. Greta was a bit stagnant there for a while but she has really come along in the last decade & with lovely spots like this to dine who wouldn't want to stop for a spell!!!!!

Consistently the greatest tasting coffee around, the breakfast menu is amazing and my family loves coming here. The staff are extremely accommodating and polite.

Amazing place, with beautiful wait staff. Served us at 13.55 even though the kitchen closes at 2pm on Sunday, without any fuss! Had an amazing fun shake (enough milkshake and sweets to put the smile on anyone's face) and a Billy Burger that was so correctly greasy and yummy in the right spots (haven't had one like that since the London food scene). The chicken schnitzel was a little too dry for our liking but was huge and the salad was good too. A good selection of pastries were on display if we hadn't been that full by the end. Lots of locals passing through too. Will be back

We've been here a couple of times and it's generally busy, with a nice homey atmosphere and reasonable food. Today was a VERY mixed bag. My hubby's meal was worth 2 stars at most. He had The Melvey which is touted as their famous salt and pepper schnitzel. It was actually, literally inedible...overcooked to a degree that was shameful for a food establishment. Mine was the Buttermilk pancakes and worth a good 4 stars. The serve was generous but a spoon to eat with would be appreciated. On a good note, the coffee is consistently good and their scones with jam and cream are top notch. Just a pity about today's fail...it really was unacceptable.

Visited The Girls and The Goat Cafe for the first time for lunch on Thursday with the ladies from our View Club and it was so nice definitely a little hidden treasure in Greta.My meal of the specials fish chips and salad was beautiful the fish was cooked perfectly and the salad left you wanting more as everyone else’s meals come out they all looked delicious and were all presented so perfectly and all the food looked so clean and fresh also with a good menu choice and also for those also looking for special dietary requirements and GF.The atmosphere and staff were very welcoming and the wait staff were friendly.Overall I would definitely recommend this excellent little cafe and definitely want to go back again.

The juice that had ginger in it was amazing. Eggs were cooked perfect. The meal was so fulling i couldnt even finish it.

Great coffeeFood was good.Cant say why I wasnt fussed. I either like or dont. Wanted to come here for ages. Just felt a bit bland.
