The Athlete's Foot Salamander Bay

Very disappointing! Elderly but independent, I made my way to the Salamander store on 3/11/22 to purchase two much needed pairs of Hoka shoes. I could see the shoes I wanted on the shelf, but not in my size, so I sat down, took off my own shoe and waited while the sales assistant flirtatiously served another man. She didn’t so much as acknowledge me. That was okay. I patiently waited for her assistance.Once she had finished serving her gentleman customer, another man walked in, and the sales attendant went straight to his attention. While gregariously fitting his foot in the seat just down from where I sat, she managed to glance at me and say somewhat despondently, “be with you in a moment “. I continued to wait. After waiting 20 minutes all up, I was conscious my lift was waiting outside for me, so I stood up and left.I had intended to spend $550 plus on these quality shoes, but I guess I will buy them at another store. Thanks!

Consistently rude and unhelpful. Go elsewhere.

Friendly service and excellent advice

Apalling sevice stood there for 20mins whilst 3 staff stood at counter talking. Did not even acknowledge we were in store. We ended up walking out...

After three years I went back into athletes foot to get a new pair of joggers. I was looking forward to getting the new pair of joggers I have never had a pair of joggers that has ever lasted me three years . the most a pair of joggers have ever lasted me was at least six months it is worth finding a good quality joggers , certainly does pay off.The other pair of shoes I bought three years ago are still as good as the day I bought them how good is that. MWHUnfortunately they didn’t have a blue pair of joggers so I’ll have to wait until they coming .The following is from three years ago.How good is this place I went in ended up buying two pairs of shoes a pair of joggers and a pair of going out shoes and I was so happy they looked after me really well I was that pleased I took my girlfriend back and bought her a pair of shoes as well I think that says it all thank you to the staff The Athlete's Foot from mwh

Extremely rude and not helpful in anyway, if possible to avoid I would advise it!

Thank you so much to the amazing staff member who helped me out today. I'm 37 weeks pregnant (in case you don't know big bellies make it very difficult to put on shoes) and without even me having to ask she helped me put on and tie my shoes, on top of this she helped me find a supportive shoe. Can't ask for better or kinder service than that! Thank you.
