Alencia Wedding Reception & Function Space

Sam is very easy to work with. The whole process of planning my wedding and leading up to our day, Sam was very flexible and patient. Was able to cater to all my request and changes and easy to communicate with. The rest of the team at Alencia were great. Immaculate service and very attentive. The food not only tasted amazing but the servings were at a good portion to make a “big Islander” person full. Thank you Alencia Team.

nice venue for wedding. Light is not the best for photography or videography. Soundproofing is not very good. Can hear what's happening in the next room. Nice food and clean decoration.

Just been to a wedding at this venue on the weekend and I am one to always support businesses with reviews. The venue is really beautiful and the set up is really well thought of. One thing I just couldn't get past was how rude, blunt and inconsiderate some of the staff were(the main older staff, who were running the floor staff)1. The rooms were way too cold, it was like an igloo whilst you start the night and you're sitting down.2. When asked for for the air-conditioning to be turned down or off by multiple people, whilst the staff were accomadating to begin with, they started to be rude and snappy when asked for it to be turned on whilst all the guests were dancing as it was too hot.3. Staff were serving the mains by walking through and interrupting the wedding performances and speeches and in front of photographers whilst he's taking photos of the speeches.4. Staff seemed very disorganised and not welcoming ( the least of all pretend to be happy).Drinks on the table even water not refilled.Bridal table had to go to the bar to order drinks as well.5. Deserts were cleared just as fast as it was served. Maybe a announcement that dessert is served ? Esp if it's frozen or icecream.6. Hospitality is about making sure people are happy and satisfied. When that's not achieved then it's time to re visit basics and see what can be improved.I really hope the staff are made aware especially the in house head waitress and floor staff are either retrained and or more professional staff are hired. Please read the room and people and make them feel comfortable with the temperature in the rooms.These are happy occasions that happen in this beautiful venue, and to have such an unpleasant experience with staff is something people will never forget or look past.Beautiful venue with rude and unhappy staff.

First time here at what looks to be a brand new venue. Elegant simple, modern design inside with white marble surfaces and muted colours. The outside is clad in a white lace looking metal. Not much outside in the way of landscaping, garden etc, basically a carpark. Alencia is set in an industrial estate with sport facilities next door and lots of parking. There are several function rooms, including some on an upstairs level. Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and the food was delicious. The room we were in had a very large parquetry dance floor and concealed lighting in the cowling which could change colour to suit the mood. Even the bathrooms were elegant, sparkling clean and modern with concealed lighting and marble surfaces everywhere.

Sam's service and hospitality definitely exceeded our expectations for our wedding. All of our guests were so impressed with the food, from the taste to the portions. Everything Sam did for us was perfect, we knew from the beginning that we could trust Alencia with our wedding. I knew everything would go smoothly with Sam's stern yet professional approach. Definitely recommend Alencia for future events. THANK YOU!

Beautiful and very modern reception centre located in Dandenong it has easy access and exit plus bucket loads of car parking spaces. Outside its stunning inside is even better, one of the best wedding venues in Melbourne, highly reccomended‼️

What a fantastic venue to celebrate your new life with your family, friends and new spouse.The food is exquisite. The variety, the portion sizes and the taste (most important factor) are amazing.Waiting staff are discrete and quick.
