Fantastic place with lots of local selections of wine beer and Spirits. A great introduction the amazing local palette. A must for a starting point and introduction to the Canberra region.

A beer tasting night by appointment is designed for anyone no matter what level you're at with beer appreciation. Six beers are presented with differing tastes to complement varying foods.From an American pale ale contracted to an Australian brewery by a new Zealand company to an Indian Pale Ale, a Porter and a Stout.Beers are similar in wine for accompanying food with taste. Beers to enjoy with anything from oysters, cheese, red berries, chocolate and a good curry. All the beers are brewed in Australia, including the local brewery Tumut River Brewing Company.My overall two favourites was the Steam Funk with passionfruit, which is very popular with non-beer drinkers and the incredibly refreshing Yakima Monster Pale Ale. But it is hard to not go past a couple of oysters and a robust porter.A stunning night, Cheers

A terrific place to buy drinks and gifts - and not just alcoholic ones. There's chocolate, soap, gourmet sauces, vegan jerky... all sorts of stuff. Nice outdoor sitting area out the front, with shade umbrellas and a food van on Friday evenings (different cuisine every week).

Great facilities, fun classes. The staff are great hosts at the beginning of the class and warms friends by the end. Awesome range of local produce and amazing small and boutique beers.

This has got to be one of Canberra best kept secrets. Amazing 100 year old little cinema that has been converted to a boutique beer and wine destination. Make sure you ask to try their gins while your there!

Walking into Hops & Vine was like a step back in time! From the music to the decor and everything the shopfront provides it was such a delightful experience. Specialising in local beer, wine and spirits, you have the opportunity to sit and sample before you buy. The shop attendants were warm and welcoming, very knowledgeable and helpful. A place worth visiting.

Great variety of food and beverages-fantastic sauces, chutneys, mustards, salamis, beer wine and...many more. One of a kind shop in beautiful, tiny Hall village. Destination worth a trip even from Sydney!

I've seen some reviews saying prices are $$ but I don't think so actually. Prices are comparable to other stores selling craft beers, very reasonable. They have 10% off if you buy 4 beers+.They also have a range of gourmet food items and gifts,lovely place to get goodies. The only thing I wish they do is have an updated list od beer on their website! That said, they are so responsive you can just ring.
