Ellenborough Falls
The roads were unseal and 2WD should still be able drive on but better to have a AWD as there are the potholes on the way in.You can go for a walk down to the lower falls, but we did not do that. We just went to the lookout point at the knoll. What a view to take in. Just love it.There is a cafe there for a coffee break before heading off.

It's just spectacular the view.Easy walk to top of Falls from a viewing platform. Can be a little slippery to the 2nd viewing platform and narrow but rewarding viewing. We didn't do the big walk down to bottom of Falls as we have done before and it was breathtaking, wow moment when we got there but it's always great going down but you have to get back up and wow that's a great exercise.Amenities where clean, wheelchair toilet, bins, fire pits with BBQ plate, sheltered seating with more seating available, canteen was open in December 2022 school holidays. We arrived early 9am, not crowded

Absolutely spectacular falls. The view from afar is breathtaking and even more so when you get to the bottom of the falls and marvel at the power of the water gushing down.Access: Come via Bulga Rd (from the south) as the drive through Colling Rd is hilly, rocky, has many potholes and fallen trees. Recommend 4WD only if accessing from Colling Rd otherwise Bulga Rd will work for 2WD.Amenities: Medium size carpark, multiple picnic tables at the carpark and clean toilets. There is a small kiosk for the purchase of food and refreshments.Viewpoints:There are five locations to visit:- Ellenborough river (you will find this track behind the picnic tables)- Viewing deck to look at the top of the falls (a separate track also behind the picnic tables)- Main viewpoint (see the falls side-on, this is only a 20m walk from the carpark)- The Knoll (this will bring you to face the falls directly)- Bottom of falls (down 641 steps! Wooden steps with rail, multiple benches to sit on to rest on the way down. Picnic table down at the bottom of the falls.)You can spend so long exploring the whole area but if you would like a short stay, you should definitely go straight to the main viewpoint. Videos here won't do it justice, you really have to see it for yourself.

I would be delighted to write a review about a beautiful waterfall and bush walking down to the fall!I recently had the opportunity to visit a stunning waterfall nestled deep in the heart of the bush. From the moment I arrived, I was immediately struck by the serene beauty of the surrounding landscape. The waterfall itself was a magnificent sight to behold, with crystal-clear water cascading down a series of rocky ledges before pooling at the base in a tranquil, blue-green pond.

Absolutely stunning and well worth a visit! Beautiful walk through the rainforest on designated stairs to view the bottom of the falls. Hint - you need to be fairly fit to do the stairs down and back up!

Ellenborough Falls
Very rough road on the way there. There were lots of big holes so can be difficult for small cars.We got there early (around 9) on Saturday and main parking was already full by the time we finished past 10:30.Wooden stair access to the bottom of the falls. Can be quite slippery if it rained the previous day so be very careful when going down.

Gorgeous falls and beautiful spot. The last 15 km is unpaved road but easily accessible via 2wd. The parking has a viewing platform and you can see the falls from there. The Knoll is easy 10 min walk with some steps. It's only one person walk way so you have to be careful. Lower Falls has 651 steps and only one person can go at a time on steps. Plenty of parking and a kiosk that is open until 4pm.

I probably didn't choose the best day to go as it was raining, but well worth the drive. The driving track had been recently graded which really helped, a few fallen trees on the way

I was only able to view the beautiful falls from the nearest lookout. The paths leading to other lookouts were narrow in sections with steep steps, being disabled I still managed to walk 200m but couldn't reach the next lookout.
