Bellingen Canoe Adventures

A fun experience for myself and my family. The tour guide often seemed gruff and brisk, not in any way disrespectful but was keen to hurry is along and began the tour with the knowledge that some of my family members had no experience. There was little instruction. Otherwise a good workout and beautiful scenery.

Daniel is a knowledgeable guide and takes you on a real journey. The cows crossing the river to be milked as,amazing spectacle

Our family had a fabulous day on the rapids tour of the river. We all had an amazing time. Daniel's knowledge, skill and patience made the whole morning unforgettable. A great way to view a stunningly beautiful area. Recommend it highly.

Had a great time self guided for an hour with a family of four. It rained. We coped. On the way back a couple of dolphins swam close to us. It was unbelievable, so far from the sea. Felt very lucky. It was a highlight of our holiday.

Great morning of canoeing down some epic little rapids whilst taking in the amazing mountain landscape from the water! The tour was well organised and our tour guide was professional, knowledgable and made it a really run experience!

What an amazing adventure we have been on with Bellingen Canoes! Welcomed so warmly by Daniel and walked through the beautiful property to the rivers edge. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children, we used the life jackets and double canoes. We were given a clear introduction to paddling and off we went through the beautiful waterways. We saw a Sea Eagle, water dragons and lots of cows by the waters edge. Daniel was a fantastic guide, so relaxed and friendly, gave us great detail of the area and of his business.Once our tour ended we arrived back in the beautiful garden to enjoy freshly baked croissants and beautiful fresh fruit. Daniel also had a hot and cold drinks menu which we enjoyed too.Thank you Daniel for hosting us and being a big part of creating beautiful memories for us all. We cannot wait to come back!

We came on new year day 2019. Hire two person kayak for two hours.Experience: Great activity to do. It was so quiet and peaceful, we stop by at the ‘beach’ area and chatted with some people who were camping there. Very serene atmosphere and we can see many cows having a dip and hearing birds singing :)Staff: Daniel & his wife was very friendly and helpful. We had to turned back and changed the kayak because something was wrong with our kayak (it kept turning around), he easily accomodate our request and gave us the finer glass kayak.Price: $50 for two hours self guided two person kayak rent. Worth it!Tip: Wear swimmers when kayaking. It’s easier to just park and have a swim whenever you feel like. Bring: hat, sunny, water and sunscreen.

Perfect holiday starter. Dan & Jody have been running canoe tours for over 20 years. We explored the Belligen river with our two kids in a canoe. It was a fast canoe too! We have a refreshing swim and at the end. Jody made us homemade croissants with fruit. Lovely morning experience. Thank you. We will be recommending you to many!
