Tropical Coast Retreat Pet Friendly

We came here for a brief holiday with our dog. Rick and Veronica were great hosts. The cabin was immaculate! I love the spa and tranquility. The little kitchen got everything I needed to cook up. I love the experience of picking some avos from the trees. Thank you for the hospitality!

What a fabulous place tucked away in the heavenly Tweed hinterland. Thanks to my cousin who found this gem and booked us in for a couple of days, her treat for Darcy. We were welcomed so warmly and every effort was made to make sure human needs were taken care of. The best thing was letting Darcy roam off leash the whole time. He was in his happy place for sure.The gardens are so peaceful and overlook fabulous views of the coast. Will definitely find our way back here again soon.

WOW just wow. What can we say. We stayed here over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Rick and Veronica are the most wonderful hosts and we cannot fault a thing. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and we wanted somewhere we could bring our two fur babies. It was so lovely to be able to include them on our stay and for them to have so much freedom and space to run around and have a fabulous time too. The room was so clean and cosy and the whole grounds are just stunning. Thank you so so much for all you did. We will be back.From Danny, Jodie, Vinnie and Douglas.

Stunning grounds and pool, and a clean and tidy room and balcony that led directly onto the lush grounds and right next to the pool. We loved that it was adults only, and we didn't see another guest our whole stay despite knowing they were there. It felt like we were the only ones there. It was so peaceful and tropical. Our mini labradoodle, Baxter, absolutely loved being off leash, and Rick, the owner, was great to deal with. Thank you for this hidden gem, we will be back!

What a great place to unwind and relax! Rick is very welcoming and a pleasure to deal with; the property is beautiful with a huge pool shared by only very few guest; you can see the sunset and sunrise which is pretty special ! We went there to enjoy the trail ride and absolutely loved our time ! Highly recommended and we will be backThanks Rick !

Veronica and Rick were great hosts. The location is wonderful with panoramic views to the coast on the east and Mt Warning to the west. We enjoyed walking around the property with its pretty waterlilly filled dams and lovely rainforest gardens. We spent much of the day in and around the pool.We didn’t have a pet with us but could see that they were well catered for.Narelle and I would love to spend more than two nights on our next visit.

I recently spent 8 nights and it was the best holiday l have had in years.The accommodation was spotless and the grounds beautifully maintained.The proximity to Kingscliff for the shops and lovely beach was excellent,but it was always so relaxing to come back to the Retreat for some spaceand tranquility. It was the first time I had traveled with my two year old kelpie,and knowing that he had room to run around and enjoy himself was definitely a bonus.Veronica and Rick were ultimate hosts and had gone the extra mile to make sure thatthe little extras are taken care off . The tranquility was exactly what we needed and we got to have our fur baby with us to enjoy the experience. Incredibly clean and comfortable. We felt at home the first night we arrived when Rick greeted us. We look forward to booking our next holiday here in the near future. Very affordable accommodation and close to such fantastic tourist attractions like fruit world which we thoroughly enjoyed. 10/10
