Helpful staff, and useful location for a toilet - if your timing is right the coffee van might be there.

Very helpful but a shame we have to pay to visit our own land. This is public land. Open it up to the public. We pay taxes and we also have to pay for this. That means we pay twice.

This is a fine, informative centre with staff, kiosks and displays. Permits and other arrangements can be made here. Very helpful.

QPWS Great Sandy Information Centre
Never open when you need to drop in and severely undermanned in busy times. You'd think they would put extra staff on when Teewah Beach low tide times coincide with peak need periods. They do always have blank tags so you can fill out details from online bookings.
