Cafe on Strand
Literally 10/10 their wagyu burger is so juicy and the sauce is amazing !! The fries were also super crispy and great. Would definitely be a regular here !

Have to admit this was the spot we used to have brunch after a big night out! (Still yummy food otherwise). The Big Breakfast is top notch, all the stuff you want in such an item, and done well. I always compare other brunch Big Breakfasts to theirs! Have no found a spot that does it as good - yet. All the other items we hve tried were really good too. An outdoor area at te corner near the train station, and one out back. Nice to dine there on a warm day. Coffee's good too!

I ordered pancakes to be delivered to my nephew for his birthday and mentioned this to the cafe and they included a muffin with a candle! So thoughtful and my nephew said the pancakes and the muffin were delicious!!

Well what a great place. Great food, great service, and a great vibe. Both the coffee and the food was amazing. Quality ingredients and good portions. The atmosphere is buzzing. It was very busy at the time but the place felt very comfortable. There is also seating available out the back and outside at the front. The customer service is fantastic. Friendly, attentive, and prompt. Well done!

What a waste of my money, never going back. Such a shame, this cafe is in a perfect location in a lovely building. It could be amazing if the food and service were good...Food: terrible. Cheap supermarket ingredients badly cooked.Chicken ceasar salad had watery cheapest store-bought dressing, burnt bacon, wilted lettuce, dry flavourless chicken and no anchovies.Big brekkie also had cheapest fatty bacon, bland bland bland.Drinks: they had none of the advertised juices (basically no fresh fruit), no lemonade, no ice tea. Pretty much just coffee or coke.Service: waited about 20mins for the waiter to come right back". Went inside where he told me he'll come back outside with me to take my order but didn't come so had to back to order at the counter. Then waited ages for our food and then got only 2 of the 4 meals ordered and had to wait again for the other 2.Do yourself a favour and go to either of the other cafés on the Strand."

Really enjoyed the Chicken Caesar Salad. Chicken was flavoursome and serving size was big and full. Coffee was great also!Place was clean and the staff were friendly. Will eat here again.

This cafe has gone down hill. Since change of management the food is very average. When we were there the food inspectors came and we could see the mad scramble to throw away dirty wet towels in the bin! They were so busy cleaning before the inspector could see anything we got all our food late and cold. Also using disposable cups for a drink is awful, there is no reason for this when dining in? They ran out of cream for iced chocolates but didn't tell us when we ordered.We had to ask them to clean the tables that were filthy and for cutlery. Poor service all round - its a shame as it used to be a great cafe!
