Chunky beef pie was dry and had the lingering nature of an old slaughtered dairy cow that you feed dogs, not humans. Do better, country style" shouldn't mean poor quality."

This Bakery is one of a small local Gippsland chain that provides a range of baked savoury and sweet goods. the pies are good, if not outstanding, nice pasties and some very tasty small sausage rolls of various fillings. for lunch there is usually a choice of roast meats, perfectly cooked and served in a generous sized Bun with gravy and seasoning to request. since Daffodil closed this seems about the only takeaway roast meat sandwich available in Traralgon. A traditional range of sweet treats from the cabinet features the staples of country/regional bakeries with all the usual suspects. not an urban patisserie, but with arguably the largest selection in Traralgon, usually fresh and good quality. a single indoor eat and run table and a couple of smaller bistro tables on the footpath complete the scene. staff always seems friendly, cheerful and often patient during the busy smoko and lunch time rush.

Got one of their goumet pies, chicken cheese and avocado. Decadent, delicious and well worth the money. Yummy. Good bread rolls too.

Yesterday I bought a roast meat sandwich which I have had before and it really did taste good. However for $8 the meat was a bit frugal especially in comparison to other occasions when I have bought it. The meat didn't even fully cover the bread. It was disappointing and expensive for what I got.Normally these sandwiches are generous and filling but not this one.

Hello. My name is Philip Chalker.I am totally blind.I have been to the store a couple of times already and have found the staff to be friendly each time I have been in there. The food that I have purchased there has been a salad roll, which has been very nice.I would also like to say thank you very much for allowing me to place a seeing eye dog money box in your store. It means the world to people like myself and other people who are blind, or visually impaired to allow New seeing eye dogs to be trained up for us to help us bring our freedom and independent

Edit Jan 2018: Stopped in to try the scallop pie again and it was sold out. Instead got to try the sundried tomato chicken pie I missed out last time. Unfortunately it was overloaded with onion flavour and the flavour was unbalanced. Good attempt at a different flavour but not worth $5.50 a pieApril 2017: THEY HAVE SCALLOP PIES HERE! WOOHOO! Despite it being $8, it was worth it, in fact, I probably should have bought 2. Their award winning sundried tomato chicken pie was sold out, so I tried the steak and mushroom pie instead. So disappointed - the mince was grainy and lacked any steak flavour, but there was a generous amount of mushrooms. Overall, the scallop pie was so good, I'm definitely coming back to eat it while also keeping my choices to their award winning flavours
