Luke Masters Hair

I found Luke a few years ago and have not gone anywhere else since! Not only is Luke a fantastically talented hairdresser, he is a delight to spend time with - he's a very open, friendly and funny person.I've had some bad experiences in the past and coupled with my mild perfectionism, it makes getting my hair done a little stressful. From the very beginning, Luke took the time to understand me, my hair and what I wanted to achieve and so he gained my trust very quickly. He delivers the best blonde colours and perfect haircuts - I even trusted him to do the big chop before lockdown!Also, the new salon space is beautiful and has such a cool vibe. Instead of being in a busy, noisy salon where I often feel forgotten, the one on one service Luke provides is amazing. Thank you!

Luke is honestly the best hairdresser I’ve had (and I’ve had a lot!). I’ve been to all the big salons (Uva, Rok, T&G etc) and I’ve never walked out 100% happy, particularly with my colour. At my first visit with Luke he just nailed the colour and I’ve never looked back! He’s super talented and just a very lovely and down to earth person - and very affordable too. If you’re just a little dissatisfied with your current hairdresser I’d recommend giving him a shot - you won’t regret it!

Luke is the loveliest!! His work is always impeccable and I trust him completely. Always enjoy coming in, not just for a fresh look, but also to have a chat with Luke. First time with Luke and I will definitely be going back. I had to find a new hairdresser after 25 years and I am so happy I found Luke. I met with him for a free consultation first, I found him to be very easy to chat with right from the start and he understood my hair needs. I have now had my first foils/colour, hair cut and blow wave. I have long wavy blonde hair, the colour is fantastic, and he cut long layers in it just the way I like ( not easy to find a good cutter, he's wonderful )On top of all of that, he's lovely to chat with, is highly experienced and has an intimate and stylish salon space on the ground floor in Gertrude Street. Working just on his own, which I also like.I have found my new hairdresser and I would highly recommend him. 5 stars!

Excellent result after disappointing hair colourings and cuts elsewhere since Melbourne has reopened after covid. Luke listened to me and made sure that he then provided what I was seeking. End result, perfect colour, just as I wanted. And a quick trim to get my hair into a more suitable shape for haircut at next visit. Great service for an incredibly reasonable price.

Luke is Wonderful! In the course of a year I had gone through 7 hairdressers just trying to find the one with whom I felt confident cutting my very short hair. I found him and I highly recommend him. You come out feeling great!
