Fantastic little shop where they bake fresh goods. My favourites are, shepherds pie, individual or large, Honey mustard chicken , pumpkin, fetta and spinach quiche, as well as sweets and slices, vanilla slice, pink cream filled lamingtons, caramilk slice, hedgehog slice, caramel slice, custard tarts, and so many more. All at reasonable prices.

Friendly staff, delicious savory food and yummy deserts!The only desert that I'd say has been a let down is the chocolate hedgehog, which was made by Routleys, all of the food that I've had that has been baked by Mel's Foodstore has tasted absolutely divine.

Seriously, get here as fast as you can. The best little bakery in the world.Update: Went in to get some chicken pies but none on the shelves. Mel took my order and my phone number and told me she would text when they were ready. So amazing and thoughtful and the pies are definitely worth the wait!!!

The best home cooked food, reasonable prices, variety of home cooked meals and delicious homemade cakes and desserts. The customer service is A1 and the shop is spotless. The pulled pork pies are so tasty. Highly recommended.

If I could have my last meal on earth, I would have Mel's Lamb and Rosemary Pie. Two absolutely adoring souls welcome you at the door, and have a smorgasbord of food awaiting your selection! Mel's Foodstore is the real heart of Wyndham Vale.

I think the people of Werribee and Wyndham Vale are the luckiest people alive. Amazing place. The food available is incredible, such a clean and tidy little shop. It has an ever changing range of delicious cakes, biscuits, pies, quiches and cold take away meals. When I travel back there, I'll be visiting again. Thanks ladies, Maria from Adelaide.

Staff was very friendly and food was excellent...I just had a quiche which was just the right size for quick lunch and priced well. Keep it up!
