Always love their fresh steamed dumplings and their lamb skewers are great. Spiced cumin flavour. Also love their cucumber salad, goes so well with the cumin spiced lamb. Would recommend these together. Can BYO wine.

Bought Fried noodle with seafoods, waiting for 30mins and gave me wrong food coz they placed wrong order. Repeated my order two times and still get wrong?? Make me wait for another 15mins for the noodle, this is rediculous..i was charged $4.8 extra and they didn't even check and refund.. Not even worth One star

This is a lovely place to dine for classic dumplings. all homemade it seems! The look of the place throws you off a bit but the food is worth it. staff are always decent, food comes out in a reasonable time. careful if you go during peak times the dumplings are sometimes undercooked! other than that my friends and I enjoy this place a lot. The price is fair as well! one of my fav Chinese restaurants.

Stir fried noodles were great (i tried beef and chicken). Don't be put off by presentation as the noodles are hand made and quite delicious. Fried dumplings were alright, but my friend really liked them. The servings were quite generous, definitely value for money.The wait can be quite long when they are busy ... really long. And as noted by the other reviewer, wipe your bowl/plate/utensil before using.

Can’t go past the fried pork dumplings in chilli oil and the friend beans and mince-OMG sooooo good. This is a humble abode but do not be deceived- the cooks know what they’re doing. Give it a go.

Dunno what has gone wrong with the chef, food was not good as before. The lamb skewer was chewy and not tender enough, soup was tasteless and some dishes was too oily and I feel greasy after eating.CASH ONLY

This was my introduction to Dongbei food from the Liaoning Province of China.I went with a friend of mine, who is from that particular Province and he promised to only order very authentic food to that region.To me, the star fish was Pork with Sauerkraut and Glass Noodles. Being locked in between North Korea and Russia, this dish made perfect sense to me. I could seriously eat this all day every day - it was simply divine.The Lamb Skewers were a treat too - you must eat them while they're hot. They're covered with all sorts of spices, but the one I could taste predominantly was cumin.The Dumplings were nice, but nothing special. They did have a good flavour and, once smothered in chilli oil, we demolished them in minutes.Same as most dumpling joints, there is complimentary tea.Note: My friend warned me to use the tissues provided to wipe the table and every utensil or plate :-)

I can't believe this place has so many good reviews! Probably the worst dumplings I have ever tasted. Har Gow was tasteless and prawn, pork and chive dumplings tasted odd. Even the pork spring rolls were bland. The service was atrocious with the waitress not even speaking word until she gave me the price. And it is definitely not the cleanest place to eat. May have been a bad day for them, but I'll never go back.

I booked to eat here with a group of 11 friends (12 ppl total) and the restaurant staff here were incredibly friendly, patient and accomodating.The food is delicious but equally very affordable, perfect for a large group of 20-somethings. We paid about $20 each to scarf down plates of dumplings, fried rice, fried chicken, and garlicky greens, and we left our plates scraped clean. My favourite was the pork and potato stew which came out with potatoes soaked until golden in a sweet and salty sauce and pork belly cooked until soft, tender and melt-in-your-mouth. Perhaps the best stewed potatoes I’ve ever had or the best potatoes full stop.The place is BYO as well so you know you’re going to have a great time as well as a great feed.

Food was AMAZING, dishes are under $20, flavors are authentic! Even while busy they serviced well. Dumplings cooked spot on and i highly recommend the pork cooked in special sauce.
