This was a lovely place to go for a walk. It was a hot day when I went walking but it was very shady along this walking track. Plenty of parking off Orchard Grove.

A great local walk with well-maintained paths and grassed areas. Has recently undergone major improvements with more paths, better drainage to the wetlands and a ramp to the water. No toilet on site but there is a playground for younger kids.If you’re into wildlife, the wetlands are home to a thriving frog population as well as water birds such as Chestnut Teal, water hens, Eurasian clots, Wood Ducks and Pacific Black ducks. Unfortunately due to easy predation access through poor design, very few ducklings make it to adulthood.

So blessed to have this little walk near bye, it's not a destination. But I would miss it if I wasn't local. So many birds.

I love walking here, there are often ducks to spot & watch. You can hear frogs & it's especially great at sunset. There is also a small playground (better for young children) & several park benches. It is managed by Yarra Valley Water as it is a Flood-retarding basin too.

Fantastic peaceful place . You can stick to the main path or go more bushwalking all in the same hugh area. Take the kids ,the bikes ,the dogs and poo bags,which keep this place pleasant forveveryone. I walk around here every day with my dog and we both love it. Take a picnic there's plenty of shade and nice areas of grass to sit on. Hope you have a good time.
