If you are heading to Grafton I would suggest you head out of town and stay at the Rooftops. Right besides the river and historic port is this Bed and Breakfast. With 3 guest bedrooms which are all self contained you can have your own privacy or share the common lounge and balcony.

My partner and I stayed in the balcony room and we were impressed from the moment we arrived! Sandra and Darrell were so warm and welcoming that we wished we were staying longer than one night.The beds were super comfy, included breakfast was delicious and served with love the arrangement on the plate feasted the eyes before it even feasted your stomach!The accommodation is located opposite the Ulmarra hotel which contains the Clarence Cafe, a good spot for dinner after the long drive from Sydney.You need to climb a narrow set of stairs to reach the rooms so it may be a problem for less abled people.We would definitely stay again!

What a simply ravishingly roller coaster of a stay, I was simply knocked off my feet when I arrived at the sheer quality of the establishment, the rooms were pristine and comfortable and had everything we needed for our brief stay. It was a disappointment to find the stove stop and oven inoperable, the local pubs restaurant was closed which was also a shame as the menu looked quite mouthwatering. A small selections of basic breakfast goodies are supplied. Over all the pros outweighs the cons. An excellent place to stay and would visit again if in the area.

This place felt like you were staying with relatives you liked! Comfortable and inviting. Homemade breakfast at the kitchen bar area. The owners knew how to look after a hungover bloke, I'll tell ya!

My first visit was when the original owners were running it and it was simply a fantastic experience and the owners were so kind and welcoming. The second time I visited recently the Ulmarra Hotel is now running rooftops and you're no longer greeted by the owners but you pick up the key from the hotel. However the rooms and setup of the B&B are just as lovely and I had a wonderful stay for the second time visiting Ulmarra.
