I am writing this note to thank Dr Annette Beaufils who is an amazing doctor who practises in Helensburgh.I have had two experiences with the Dr - namely a fractured shoulder on Sunday. She attended to it early Monday morning and managed to get me to see a specialist today - Wednesday. Amazing. I don’t think I deserved it as I’m sure that there are others who are more injured than me. She called me on Monday night and then called me this morning [follow-up] to say that if I could get myself together there was an opportunity to see the specialist before the Easter weekend. in Kogarah She had seen an opportunity and it was up to me to make it happen.Another story relates to my injuring my back some years back. Out of desperation, I contacted her after no success with my then doctor … she immediately got me to a specialist in Miranda who injected some cortisone into my back and it got me back to work after a month off work.I can’t thank Dr Beaufils enough for the extra effort she makes … and I’m very annoyed about the complaint [ranking] that someone gave about their waiting time. Please get over it. Been there … done that. It is about the quality of your medical service that’s important … not the time that you have to wait in a waiting room. Do not bother!.. For a non bulked billed practise you expect doctors to have great time management NOT leave you sitting for 1 hour while they run behind..no curtisy calls to advise either- save your money and spend it elsewhere
