The moment I walked in at this restaurant, we were ushered to our table by friendly staff. Great location, good ambience, good lighting. We came here with my son, who lives in the area and is highly recommended by my son. Between the three of us, we shared shish lamb , tandoori chicken, lamb biryani, madras beef , beef vindaloo, and the chef recommendation their cheese garlic spinach naan bread. Huge selection of Indian dishes. It's really difficult to pick the best dish of the night as all the food was delicious , full of flavour with all different aromatic spices in each dish. The beef was tender and oozing with flavours. Serving sizes were generous. There is a alcohol and non alcoholic beverages on offer.Desserts on offer as well. Definitely recommend this place and will definitely come back. The service throughout the evening was efficient.

Had the best vege biriyani ever here. It was so delicious without being full of oil and salt, the veg was cooked perfectly (not overcooked like I usually get) and topped with lots of fresh herbs and onion. The service was very friendly and was great for us when we stopped for a quick lunch!

Monash is the kindest and has great customer service & bright personality. The butter chicken & naan is the best in the area. I get it for lunch often. Love this local joint.

I gave 2 stars as both my hubby and I enjoyed the starter of tandoori platter. This was very nice. We were given free onion bhajis, apart from being slightly overdone on outside, these were also tasty. However, we waited hour and a half for delivery, when they said it would be an hour. I had chicken pasanda...so disappointed...no flavour, very bland, nothing like a pasanda should be. My naan was overcooked and very crispy and dry (I had peshwari, see photo). Couldn't even eat it. My hubby had the chicken sindhi chilli. He had it Indian hot...was not hot at all, and it had this strong herby after-taste, unsure of which herb but it made the curry inedible. We may try this restaurant again as our friend raved about this place...but it will be a while I think.

The young lady at the front is always very nice and polite. The food is amazing and the small restaurant inside has a very homely feel

Absolutely hands down beyond expectations. Had take away order and was still boiling hot by the time I got home to eat. The butter chicken and coconut rice was amazing but the absolute star of the dish was the garlic cheese nann bread which was the size of a large pizza. Amazing taste and after second guessing because of mixed reviews I’m so glad I gave them a chance because I certainly am so thankful for the beautiful meal which I couldn’t even get through half as the portion sizes were so big.Big thank you and I absolutely will be back. Your team deserve much better feed back. Absolutely no faultPerfect !

Used to go here all the time. I understand prices have gone up but since when are the containers this small?! Won't be going back. This cost almost $60

Worst veg Indian food I ever had. Looks like curries are cooked without salt, which is an important ingredient to be added during the cooking to release the flavours. Naan was very dry too. Not recommended. Very expensive too.

Finally decided to try this place after living close by for a year, but even though they have a small vegan menu, none of the options sounded very appealing which is why we didn't go sooner. However, we decided to take a chance getting the onion bhaji (listed as dairy free and vego) which was unlike any onion bhaji I've ever had, not bad just felt like a totally different food. The sauces that came with it though had dairy yoghurt in them, I'm glad I asked otherwise my kid with a dairy allergy would have been in trouble. This needs to be updated on the menu! It is dangerous!Next we got coconut rice, which was overly sweet, dry and felt like rice with desiccated coconut added to it rather than being cooked in coconut milk.Upon pick up I noticed marketing material that said rice is included with any curry, that was not the case, we were charged for coconut rice and no additional plain rice came with it.Next we had the gobhi aloo which wasn't great. Nothing to write home about. We also ordered the vegan garlic roti which was incredibly dry and burnt. Honestly, instead of simply removing the ghee or butter, why not replace it with nuttelex or even olive oil so it has some moisture on it. Or use a vegan coconut yoghurt in the naan recipe.Unfortunately I cook better indian food at home, and that's saying something. Vegan doesn't need to be bland and India has so many amazing vegan options to choose from in their cuisine! Get creative! I suggest taking a look at some restaurants that are doing it well like the leaf in Perth. Honestly I'd be happy to help with feedback, but simply removing the animal products isn't good enough. Customer service was fine, order was slightly delayed to the time estimate but overall food quality means I won't be returning which is a shame.
